Sachin=GOD Posted June 15, 2011 Posted June 15, 2011 Not to nit pick anyone here, but what makes you people feel "wobblydoggy" is a padosi? Is it just because he started threads which are critical of Indians? or is there any solid reason you can see which I can't see in his postings? I guess it has become a habit of posters here to call Padosi anyone who joins the forum and writes something which is critical of Indian cricket in general or Sachin in particular. Also why does anyone's nationality matters in an internet forum where everybody is strangers to others? Even if someone is Paki and pretends a person of different nationality , why does it concern me or any posters? Its his view and posts that matter to me more than his nationality. Such personal insults and name calling is hardly conducive to good cricket banters. I had to write all this because I was accused of Padosi when I joined this forum. I know the pain of proving myself as an Indian :haha: :phehehe:

wobblydoggy Posted June 15, 2011 Author Posted June 15, 2011 English or British ? English Dont insult me please. Calling me British would be like me calling you Asian
mishra Posted June 15, 2011 Posted June 15, 2011 English Dont insult me please. Calling me British would be like me calling you Asian For me you seem to have passed the litmus test. You may not be Pakistani. :icflove:

singhprakash72 Posted June 15, 2011 Posted June 15, 2011 The key to English success will be performance of Swann and Anderson ...if they can run through Indian batting, we really don't have a strong enough bowling attack to hit back. If you see lately most of the wins in England where built on strong batting display. Nevertheless it should be a exciting series, if both teams play to their potential...my only worry with India is that they are chronic late starters in any Test series and here English will make them pay for their mistakes.

I would like to see us with 5 bowlers, but they wont do that. We like all sides need a genuine all rounder and Broad might one day fill that gap, but he is not there yet
Rana Posted June 15, 2011 Posted June 15, 2011 Munaf Patel... Definetly Zaheer Khan....Definetly Sreesant....Definetly not. Harbajhan...Yes indeed.
Switchblade Posted June 15, 2011 Posted June 15, 2011 Munaf Patel... Definetly Zaheer Khan....Definetly Sreesant....Definetly not. Harbajhan...Yes indeed. Harby hope he proves me wrong but dont have any hopes from him the Darter.
wobblydoggy Posted June 15, 2011 Author Posted June 15, 2011 Harby hope he proves me wrong but dont have any hopes from him the Darter. Please play Sreesant:haha:
Rana Posted June 15, 2011 Posted June 15, 2011 Harby hope he proves me wrong but dont have any hopes from him the Darter. Harby will be bowling in the same conditions swanny will be bowling in. English batsmen are mentally scared of spinners, dw about him.
Rana Posted June 15, 2011 Posted June 15, 2011 I wanna see a Steven Finn v Ishaht Sharma battle this summer. They both played against each other in a u19 series not too long ago!

Cricket Tragic Posted June 15, 2011 Posted June 15, 2011 Everyone is talking about Anderson and Swann but I'm worried about Tremlett from an Indian point of view. Karan mentioned it one of his threads I think.
wobblydoggy Posted June 15, 2011 Author Posted June 15, 2011 Everyone is talking about Anderson and Swann but I'm worried about Tremlett from an Indian point of view. Karan mentioned it one of his threads I think. Now Tremlett I like. He is a good patient fast bowler who now has the menace too. Broad is just nasty, but Tremlett has some good balls in his armoury. I think he will get a lot of nicks to slip in the tests. whereas Broad will be hoping for gloved skyers off bouncers I hope they rough up your batsmen in the first test, as I think finally England has the pace attack to do that.
Cricket Tragic Posted June 15, 2011 Posted June 15, 2011 Broad shouldn't even be playing. He is still living off his spell at the Oval in '09.
wobblydoggy Posted June 15, 2011 Author Posted June 15, 2011 Broad shouldn't even be playing. He is still living off his spell at the Oval in '09. I disagree. If you have watched him alot, like I have he like Freddie before him, bowls alot of balls that beat the bat or are to good for the batsmen, but dont take wickets. I just think he is unlucky
wobblydoggy Posted June 15, 2011 Author Posted June 15, 2011 are you serious? Yes very. I mean they should mix up their bowling with intermittent short stuff and see if your guys are up to it.
