Raghav_12 Posted June 27, 2011 Posted June 27, 2011 There was some real top class Tennis in Rafa and Del Potro match.
cowboysfan Posted June 27, 2011 Posted June 27, 2011 i saw some highlights, this del potro guy is slow as molasses compared to rafa.
Sooda Posted June 28, 2011 Posted June 28, 2011 ^ He seems that way because of his size, but yeah he does not move SO great. Bit awkward looking, and most are slow compared to Rafa to be fair. But boy can he hit those howitzers. Would back him to beat Rafa on US hards

His flat forehands are simple unplayable. Yesterday commentators made following comments. "Typically Wimbledon organizers donate balls used during tournament to local clubs for their use. But balls hit by Del Potro would be thrown directly in river (as they would be no good after those massive hits)"
Bradman99 Posted June 28, 2011 Posted June 28, 2011 I hope Nadal plays the QF, wouldn't be the same without him.. Also, that would mean Fish would vs the other semi finalist.. which we all know who would win that.. Lets hope he is fit and ready to play

Also one of two people to have defeated Federer in a Grand Slam Final.
Cricketics Posted June 28, 2011 Posted June 28, 2011 This Wimbledon is turning out to be one of the slowest boring Wimbledon. So much rain, it has ruined all the fun.

Also one of two people to have defeated Federer in a Grand Slam Final. Thats right on both points. He has been out injured for a while just prior to having to take time out he had beaten Rafa three straight times they played each other and was world no 5 i think. Itll be fantastic for tennis if/when he truly hits full form and fitness -the 09 Open type form- Hopefully soon. Will be great if he can make a realy challenge for the Open.
SachDan Posted June 29, 2011 Posted June 29, 2011 Great come back from Tsonga after being two sets down!
SachDan Posted June 29, 2011 Posted June 29, 2011 Federer has never lost a Grand Slam match after being two sets up. Tsonga needs to stay clam..
SachDan Posted June 29, 2011 Posted June 29, 2011 Djokovic overcomes a stubborn Bernard Tomic in four sets, enters semis
SachDan Posted June 29, 2011 Posted June 29, 2011 Tsonga too good for Fed at the moment..holds on, leads 2-0 final set
Cricketics Posted June 29, 2011 Posted June 29, 2011 Brilliant game from Tsonga.. He is making it tough now for Fed to win this one.. Trying to close the game. let's go ROGER
SachDan Posted June 29, 2011 Posted June 29, 2011 5-3 Tsonga, Fed serves to stay in the competition !
SachDan Posted June 29, 2011 Posted June 29, 2011 Fed holds rather uncomfortably..Tsonga to serve for the match!
