Indians and Pakistanis are very very sensitive to any criticism and you over react.

It is rather silly of you to generalize the reactions of all Indians and Pakistanis. You yourself are also coming across as very very sensitive even to the possibility of criticism let alone a direct one. Do you really think that the ECB is not concerned about its diminishing administrative and financial powers in the cricketing world ?

The BCCI is and has used its muscle to get its way. The ECB are traditionalists and be fair they have a right to be. You ask any senior player where they would like to achieve their best and they will say at Lords

The Lords has a symbolic value in the cricketing world, hence a century there is important to many cricketers. But it doesnt mean that the county system will survive financially solely just because of symbolic cricketing value. The fact that ECB has started organizing T20 tournaments like Friends life T20 cup underscores how county cricket also needs to start making good money. I am sure if Pro-40 and tests yield good money, their first choice would have been to stick with them given the value of traditional cricket to them

Let's see...you can be critical of anything because you have the right to have an opinion. Now how about justifying the criticism....that's the difference between positive criticism and whining. The ECB can be traditional in its approach, no problem with that, but very often they and some English media give the impression that they are envious of India's growing importance in world cricket administration and finance and their diminished position. That is the part that they don't seem to like and not the modernization of cricket, IPL etc. They are just excuses.

You're kidding, right? That's why ECB went and made this year a new season plan where T20s will occupy a lot of space. Ya that explains it. MCC and some of the clubs' members are traditionalists, definitely not ECB. They are just as interested in throwing traditional cricket outside the window as anyone else if it means they will make more money

No one is talking the elphants in the room... That is English genearlly like football... Only Very few English and all Britsih Asians like or play Cricket.. Despite whatever ECB does, ECB is unable to attract British Asian fan base to English cricket. To me they have not helped their cause by consistently excluding Asians from the team...I dont blame them, they have been doing better.... Its not money.... Its lack of interest....
