If more players were colorful like Mr. Sreesanth then cricket would be more entertaning. You can't sit for 5 days to watch freaking 22 gentlemen play the game. That's boring and well just BORING. Unfortunetly they are still stuck with the gentlemen crap. it's 2011 not freaking industrial era. I want to see some intense action and flare not clap when a batsmen hits a bowler for a 6. Now Hockey has this stuffs ... not as interesting as cricket but still INTENSITY AND FLARE is what makes the game interesting. Am just saying ....

Mishragreat - I think we're heading in the same path though. When the Aussies came to India recently' date=' [b']the Indians were having a word every other ball. We are definitely the sledgers of world cricket right now. And you know what? I ****ing love it. We've taken a lot of crap. About time we pummel other teams to the ground - through cricket and mentally. If only we had a couple of ruthless bowlers who could bowl at express pace... Anyway, back on topic, from what I've read of Gambhir - he seems like a very nice guy. People wouldn't think of him as a gentleman because he fights back when someone has a word with him, but he never starts the confrontation. Viv Richards said a couple of years ago (perhaps when Gambhir was the most in-form batsman in world cricket), that he met him on a flight and he was very impressed with the enthusiasm, politeness and passion that Gambhir showed - asking Viv for advice on how he could improve his game. That's gentlemanly. Just because someone has a bit of fire and passion doesn't make him not a gentleman.

This is the part I don't understand. Why should we say anything? Win ruthlessly that speaks volumes. By losing the last two ODIs against the windies we proved we were pansies how much ever we bark on the field it don't matter none.
