Cricket Tragic Posted June 24, 2011 Posted June 24, 2011 If they take players off the rankings when they retire, what do they do for Pakistani players :hmmmm2: Are they penalised when they unretire and need to be included back on the list. What about MoYo's ambigous retirement? what about Afridi's banning and unbanning? Are these usecases addressed? :hmmm: :cantstop:

What about MoYo's ambigous retirement? what about Afridi's banning and unbanning? Are these usecases addressed? I think they've given up on it - I remember when Yousuf retired they removed him from the rankings and had to put him back in when he came back. After that I've noticed they've kept Afridi in even after his retirement.

So they also expect him to be back soon?

rkt.india Posted June 26, 2011 Posted June 26, 2011 Other bowlers can reach Steyn by performing well but in reality which bowler can do it right now? Anderson' date=' Zaheer,Morkel for past few years have been hovering around 750 mark. Swann is still 100 points less than Steyn. The gap will increase when Steyn destroy Aus & SL at home.[/quote'] SO it means they reduces Steyn's points and make other number one who does not deserve to be number one.
