deepak_sach Posted June 29, 2011 Posted June 29, 2011 All through these matches Sammy has been asking for a fast and bouncy pitch feeling that Indian Batsman are weak against Fast Bowling which is true..... But he thinks his team batsman are masters of swing and seam bowling and that if he gets pitches which have pace and bounce his 8th ranked team will win 9/10 times......... WI are 30/3 All in his batting ,slogging in a test match ,is it overconfidence or butterfly-in-the-belly when it comes to defending?
vvvslaxman Posted June 29, 2011 Posted June 29, 2011 But that is the only choice they have. If you give a flat track even this Indian side would rack up a huge score and let West Indies self-destruct themselves. In other words bounce or no bounce performance of WI is not going to change much. It is going to suck one way or the other.

Dont think so Murali Vijay gets out in the Best of flat tracks and Virat kohli does not have tec.
Rahul Dravid Posted June 29, 2011 Posted June 29, 2011 the guy doesnt have alot of talent.... but hey he has picked up wickets.. scored a few runs... i like his attitude... there isnt much more he can do. i feel for him.
kabira Posted June 29, 2011 Posted June 29, 2011 He is blocking Bravo who is better batsman and bowler than him and he is blocking Roach. So that guy is blocking two spots. LOL...
bihutoli Posted June 29, 2011 Posted June 29, 2011 Well he's outperformed Dhoni! Just saying. ps: I'm no Jharkhandi hater.
jf1gp_1 Posted June 29, 2011 Posted June 29, 2011 Well he's outperformed Dhoni! Just saying. ps: I'm no Jharkhandi hater. Outperformed how?
deepak_sach Posted June 29, 2011 Author Posted June 29, 2011 Tell me why West Indies team did not hold aloft the World cup trophy 2011? Ans:Because Sammy would have dropped the World Cup as well :hysterical:
bihutoli Posted June 29, 2011 Posted June 29, 2011 Outperformed how? By taking wickets. He's in the team as their third seamer and he's been taking wickets and bowling economically. Dhoni hasn't been making runs.

Pagalpanti Posted June 29, 2011 Posted June 29, 2011 Feel sad for him, as captain he is contributing and doing as much as he can. They just have a crap batting lineup. Sarwan and Chanderpaul are way past their best.

bihutoli Posted June 29, 2011 Posted June 29, 2011 Was there a point I am missing ? Or are you comparing dhoni and Sammy as captains I don't consider captaincy performance per se. It will be comical to compare Sammy to Dhoni at captaincy. But thats a moot point. I think I was reasonably clear, you seem to be looking for things that aren't there.
CSK Fan Posted June 29, 2011 Posted June 29, 2011 At least the matches are a bit competitive now. On a flat pitch, India would have murdered WI
The Outsider Posted June 29, 2011 Posted June 29, 2011 At least the matches are a bit competitive now. On a flat pitch' date=' India would have murdered WI[/quote'] Never underestimate the darting abilities of Harbhajan as he demostrated in the NZ series.
achilles Posted June 30, 2011 Posted June 30, 2011 Their bowling is the best thing about their side. Getting a team like India out for 200 odd, game after game is brilliant... esp, for a side many considered to be 2nd rate.
