Karan114 Posted June 30, 2011 Posted June 30, 2011 He's brought his average down from 35.97 before the series to 33.36.
Pagalpanti Posted June 30, 2011 Posted June 30, 2011 Honestly I've never seen any bowlers in recent past bending their backs putting an effort while bowling like Zak and Ishant recently have. Its so amazing to watch Ishant bowl the way he is, he was unplayable most of the time and the bouncers he bowled could've got the best of the best. Although I'm not to confident about PK and Mithun in England. There was less assistance in this pitch, it was just bounce, not much swing and PK was easily dealth with. Mithun needs to get his pace up or again he will be dealt with easily.
Sir_Afridi Posted June 30, 2011 Posted June 30, 2011 Great bowling. Good to see Indian fast bowler getting 100 test wickets.
cowboysfan Posted June 30, 2011 Posted June 30, 2011 I hope ECB hears Tremlett's pleas and prepares bouncy pitches.
Jersey #10 Posted June 30, 2011 Author Posted June 30, 2011 ^ :hysterical: Now they'll listen to Swan and create a spinning track. Then in the next match Bhajji will take 6fer and the English curators will just make a patta for batters.

phaedrus Posted June 30, 2011 Posted June 30, 2011 Love his attitude, has worked so hard after going through the bad times. congratulations Ishant, may this be the start of something special
Ultimate_Game Posted June 30, 2011 Posted June 30, 2011 I wish selectors keep him away from shorter formats, especially T20s. I can see Ishant playing the odis just like he did in CB Series in Aus but he should be kept away from all T20s other than IPL - I guess there's nothing much we can do about IPL. This also goes on to show that if he had a chance to play in more bowler friendly conditions, he would have a much better average and stats.

DomainK Posted July 1, 2011 Posted July 1, 2011 I missed the spell, but nice to have Ishant back among wickets in test cricket. We needed an in-form Ishant for England. Some credit should also go to ZAK who continuously helps his juniors with their bowling.
rkt.india Posted July 1, 2011 Posted July 1, 2011 Those people are in illusion who are connecting his success to Deccan Chargers and Steyn. Steyn himself admitted in an interview during an IPL match that he has done anything regarding Ishant's bowling was also relieved that he didn't bowl like that in SA test series. The credit goes to Ishant himself to go back to his strength again leaving all experiments and changes behind which again enabled him to bowl like he was bowling before T20 WC 2009.
ganeshran Posted July 1, 2011 Posted July 1, 2011 Zaheer has helped him a lot to improve too :hatsoff:
King Tendulkar Posted July 1, 2011 Posted July 1, 2011 Ironically its IPL 4( that go him in to form. It got him stonger and mixing it with steyn and co certainly helped.

Sidhoni Posted July 1, 2011 Posted July 1, 2011 :hatsoff: :congrats: His 33rd is still in progress, if he takes 3 wkts, then he'll have abt 105 in 33! :good:
Jersey #10 Posted July 1, 2011 Author Posted July 1, 2011 :omg: Just wait and watch, bhajji is gonna own all those who hate
