Sachinism Posted July 1, 2011 Posted July 1, 2011 Bhajji gets way too much unfair criticism. How contribution to Indian cricket is always undervalued. Yeh but he's Punjabi so he loses quite a few points there. So overall he not that good
Midfielder Posted July 2, 2011 Posted July 2, 2011 How can he be so good. He does not flight the ball. He is not a team player. Just because he has taken almost 400 wkts does not mean I dont know better than him what to do and how to bowl to all the best player in the world. I am Mr. Know it all and Bhajji be no good.
CSK Fan Posted July 2, 2011 Posted July 2, 2011 As you can see, Ishant's spell in this match was completely useless and his ten wickets will not be counted in the OP's stats as they were not in a 'winning' cause. Lets wait till Bhajii takes one or two wickets in the next match India wins
CSK Fan Posted July 2, 2011 Posted July 2, 2011 I think the point is not whether he's bowling really well these days, but he still managing to outperform all others barring Zaheer in all matches. So he needs to improve? Definitely yes. But should he be replaced? Despite being the next best bowler after Zak? actually Mishra and Ojha, when they got a chance, have at least matched him in bowling performances. . take the first test for example. Given similar number of chances, who knows, they might have similar number of wickets too
Cricket Tragic Posted July 3, 2011 Posted July 3, 2011 As you can see' date=' [b']Ishant's spell in this match was completely useless and his ten wickets will not be counted in the OP's stats as they were not in a 'winning' cause. Lets wait till Bhajii takes one or two wickets in the next match India wins Rightly so. It was useless, selfish and not a matchwinning effort.
The Outsider Posted July 3, 2011 Posted July 3, 2011 BTW, isn't there some 'stats' where a sh!t performance like yesterday can be measured? 5th day pitch, plenty of bounce and carry in the wicket, team 1-0 up in the series, opposition needs to bat the day without realistic chance of a win - what is the baseline expectation from the lead spinner and emotional leader in these situations?
EnterTheVoid Posted July 3, 2011 Posted July 3, 2011 What are you complaining about Shwetabh, you admitted to Harbhajan being your hero. Maybe somebody can do the bumping honors.
The Outsider Posted July 3, 2011 Posted July 3, 2011 What are you complaining about Shwetabh, you admitted to Harbhajan being your hero. Maybe somebody can do the bumping honors. Huh? So, if I praise someone's performance I cannot complain about future sh!t? Is that how logic works down under?
The Outsider Posted July 3, 2011 Posted July 3, 2011 I don't know. Is your hero a dart thrower? Is there a law down under which stops dart thrower's from being heroes? What will the likes of KT, U_S do if that's the case - they hold regular poojas so that Bhajji hero can perform and they can bump some archaic thread on ICF? :((
EnterTheVoid Posted July 3, 2011 Posted July 3, 2011 Does your dart throwing hero have a Jekyll and Hyde personality? Dart thrower one test, match winning emotional leader extraordinnare the next. Damn, this guy is so deceiving, he is a genius.

EnterTheVoid Posted July 3, 2011 Posted July 3, 2011 And I must be from Mars. I heard he didn't do all that bad in the SA series just gone by. Pretty handy bat too, I am told.

DomainK Posted July 3, 2011 Posted July 3, 2011 Does your dart throwing hero have a Jekyll and Hyde personality? Dart thrower one test, match winning emotional leader extraordinaire the next. Damn, this guy is so deceiving, he is a genius. Dude, Bhajji is not the most valuable player of the team. You can not prove it no matter what.
EnterTheVoid Posted July 3, 2011 Posted July 3, 2011 Why does he have to be the most valuable player? There is no 'I' in 'TEAM' last time I checked.
Midfielder Posted July 3, 2011 Posted July 3, 2011 Why does he have to be the most valuable player? There is no 'I' in 'TEAM' last time I checked. It is called based on contribution. "I" in team means no individual takes credit for the effort and last I checked he never did.
Pagalpanti Posted July 3, 2011 Posted July 3, 2011 While I'm supporter of Harbhajan I'm running out of patience too, he had probably the best pitch in 1st test to get 5-6 wickets, here also he had the bounce but was dealt with easily. Not sure whats wrong with his bowling but he isn't threatening the batsmen like he was before. Even the likes of Hafeez troubled WI batsmen, so Bhajji is going through bad form. But I'm still hoping he'll come back and also he is way better than Ashwin/Mishra or any other spinner in India atm.
Septimius Severus Posted August 6, 2011 Posted August 6, 2011 Glad this sad excuse for a spinner has been booted. Gives him more time to watch his hero Phil The Power Taylor( darts mëÔtro). The demented one even made himself missing when Ind needed him on day 3 at TB. Hope Sree slaps the shirt out of him one day. Go Mishra the Menace
