Ishant Sharma resurgence

Show me where I talked about stamina of Ishant. I am sure I have never talked about it. There is no stamina problem with Ishant. He usually bowls a lot in the nets as Venky has also mentioned in an interview. And I saw Sreeshanth's stamina in WC and also in Capetown test. How he was bowling there. Ishant was not in rhythm and still was bowling faster than him. Zak might have had sustained some injury in 2nd innings if that test. Team paid for these deficiencies by not winning the series 2-1 when we could not finish their tailenders and our of form Boucher.
:hysterical::hysterical: man what are you saying ishant was hammered in the second innings, zak was bowling at 120 km and jogging in,only sreesanth bowled well and bowled fast and was unlucky not to get kallis when dhoni took. Him off as he ws too agressive and told him. We are gandhians about ishant what you said-http://72.232.250.10/showthread.php?t=264556&page=3

mate if you sit for 1 month then in humidity of mumbai you are thrown in world cup final what do you expect .still he was quickest of indian bowles in seccond spell too 133-140km/h
Who's talking about that? You talked about Sree having better stamina than any Indian bowler bar Ishant. When clearly he doesn't you start making excuses. Munaf just bowled his fastest delivery late into his third spell. I guess no one told him sreesanth is supposed to have better stamina.

What the hell are you talking about one match is no indicator you consider zak munaf, praveen to have more stamina bowling at. 125 after their first spells, we are not talking about steyn, morkel, about munaf bowling his fastest delivery is third spell this match we rarely have a continous play but I am happy if munaf imprves his taminaas as eric simmons said theyare working to increase his pace

Another 5-fer for Ishant Sharma This lad is doing wonders in Windies! I hope it's not a "chaar din ki chandni" :hysterical: At this rate we are sure to have a PHHHAAAASST bowler with under 30 avg

This could easily be the most number of wickets picked by an Indian pacer in a 3 test series.
It is indeed. Previous highest was Srinath with 18 wickets in SA in 1996/97, Sreesanth in SA in 2006/07 and Zak in England in 2007

At this rate, he could soon move head of Zak in the rankings. Zak is no 5 with 733 points, Jhonson 6 with 727 and Ishu is at 7 with 669. A few more wickets in the 2nd innings and he would surely close in on Zak for an entry into top 5!

Ishant is bowling brilliantly. Admittedly it is against a third rate windies batting line up but it is still a great achievement. More power to him in England!!

There is another one by Irfan Pathan who picked 18 wickets vs Bangladesh in Bangladesh. That was the best of Irfan in a test series.

When was the last time an Indian fast bowler consistently bagged 4, 5, 6 wickets in a series. Probably irfan against zimbabwe and bangladesh. This is a better opposition. So it is a good going. Atleast he is consistent on certain types of pitches.

Instant Karma :yay: Poor opposition but still a good effort. He needs to kick on and bowl consistently against the better teams.
Agreed. He has been fantastic in this series, but now he needs to produce against the top sides, starting with England.
