Next thing? It's already happened. :hysterical:
All Time XIs are based on people's perceptions and opinions and everyone will differ. You may have Engineer in the team with say Ganguly or Gavaskar as the captain. I will have Dhoni as the captain and probably won't have room for Ganguly in the team.

Just so you know an all time cricket XI should at the minimum have a wicketkeeper in the side - once you pick Dhoni, you can chart in Baichung Bhutia as the next name and pick an all time football XI.

Just coz he had a bad game doesn't mean he has been poor all along. Dhoni has been a pretty reliable wk on the whole and I am sure he will get over the rough patch. It's not as if Dhoni's keeping is at the same level as Akmal and he has been costing us series for years. At the end of the day what Dhoni brings to the table as a batsman, wk, captain & leader is much more valuable than what others do. Again, that's how I see things and that's why I will have Dhoni in the team.

Yea, Dhoni is just a poor pressure player that the retirement of the greats will make him start to tremble when he comes to bat. :hahaha:

Nothing to do with pressure, just plain old ability. :hahaha:

Just curious as to what you think is the no.of times he gets to bat under those circumstances ... just give me your "gut feel" kinda number
Can't say about the ratio but can definitely recall the FTB hundreds against Sri Lanka and South Africa last year as well as the free runs he collected at Mohali against Australia or at the Oval against England.

Edit: Make that ONE TEST .. the series has just started

Embrace the truth brah.
If matches could be won based on technique then I'm sure a team consisting of Ramprakash and Manjrekar would trounce the one with Sehwag and Chanderpaul, but alas technique doesn't get you runs, you still need to score them on the pitch.
