Murali Kartik's selection must have had more to do with other issues than just his performance. I never understood why he never got a permanent place in the side despite being such a crafty bowler.

But the idea wasnt mine. i had just copy pasted a comment from cricinfo.com. But i am sure he is never going to be selected for the national team. The selectors seem to have an issue with him.

Poor guy had no permanent home. I think he played for Delhi and then Railways which does not help. His only vocal supporter in India was Bishen Bedi but unfortunately that is more like a kiss of death than help.

I think Mishra has fallen well behind the pecking order now. I don't see him playing again in the near future especially since we have only games at home for the next 2 years.

Mishra seems to have lost the desire. Has absolutely bloated up and is close to giving Romesh Powar some serious competition. A real pity though. But for his poor fitness, he could well have gone onto play at least 50-60 tests.
