Deja Vu... Feels like 90s once again

Translation - 90's were worse.
That's a hogwash theory. Tell me one series outside of India in the 90s (apart from the Australia tour in 99) when Tendulkar was our best player.

one 50 after 3 failed innings (albeit two with fever) and SRT brigade wants to talk as if no one else has done anything of worth. Dravid says hello!

lol must've been a misery for you guys who witnessed these scenes for over a decade. Used to see India winning/drawing for most of the time. :((
Actaully this is much worse. In those times any win was a bonus and we didnt expect much from the team except a good fight. Now the expectations are much more and such a tame surrender hurts

Read my post.
Missed it amongst all the "yea yea yea, we are still the same one man team, bla bla bla". Good post by you there. :two_thumbs_up:

You sir, have serious comprehension problems. BTW, what do you say now about Dravid's second succesive 100 being in a losing cause? Did he lose his match winning abilities suddenly?

The discussion here is about the reliving the experience of a one man show, whereas this test and this series has been anything but THAT ONE MAN's show.

If you read the OP again, he was not calling this seires or the test as a one man show. He was just saying(and mostly tongue-in-cheek) that the second innings score-card reminded him of a 90s scorecard. That doesnt mean other batsmen are useless or we are back to the 90s. Its just an observation. For example, seeing vada-pavs on the streer reminds me of my college days. As for scoring in a losing cause, that was again tongue-in-cheek as if this was Sachin instead of Dravid doing all that scoring and still India ended up on the losing side, we would have threads after threads on it. In fact dravid,s batting in this series did remind me a lot of Sachin's stands in the 90s, a lone heroic innigns while the rest collapsed

Yea yea, so every time the team is failing and SRT is still not out you guys get reminded of the 90s, totally ignoring match context, even what happened in the first innings of the same test where we had a magical innings by someone not named SRT. And again, the scoring in a losing cause may be a pet issue of yours and others, it doesn't mean it makes a difference to everyone on this site, so it is irrelevant to the discussion here.

OMG Sach vs team debate has started :nervous: I thought this thread meant ,the manner in which we are losing resembles our 90's days, not about Sach being a one man army :hmmmm2:
