:D Holy you are ~24 right? You saw cricket in the 90s? Thank God I started watching ( properly) only from the 2000s.
Yeah.. Otherwise you would have been a Sachin bhakt! :omg: I'm 25 btw.

Ha, indeed. I was thinking whether there has been a worse Indian defeat in my memory, then I remembered the 99 tour of Aus and suddenly this is a glorious performance

I have memories of watching 1996 Sahara Cup,that was 1st time I watched cricket.Very depressing time it was,but that didnt used to hurt coz I was too young to feel pain of a defeat :D

By saying that this felt like in 90s, we are ignoring what Dravid and Laxman did in the first inning and so far on tour. This game is still going on and If I watched the right game, Dravid has been our best bat in this match so far. This didn't feel like in 90s. Neither it will be once this game is over and even if Sachin had reached 100+ or not.

No kidding..Feels like a blast from the past. All I can remember during the overseas tours was Tendlya batting with More or Kumble. We used to be down to 40/4 or 50/5 in no time. Ah! The good old days of mediocrity. Devang Gandhi,Vikram Rathore,SS Das,Deep Dasgupta...:giggle:

Not always. May be not that much in tests. Mostly in ODI'S. But still once in a while some other dude used to chip in with good decent knocks to fight it out for India. Dravid, Azharuddin, Laxman. I don't want to brainwash the new generation of Indian who just recently started watching cricket by ignoring all others effort in the 90s. YES. We used to rely a lot on Sachin, but every now and then there were lot of other people who used to play special knocks and Tendulkar wasn't just the lone man standing there always. That all said. He was the jewl in the crown for us most of the time.
