BTW is Mukund injured ? because the score card says 'Retired hurt ' not 'Retired out' . If he voluntarily left the field to give others a go then it should come up as 'Retired out' IIRC.

The pitch looked really green, so Mukund must have played really well to get so many runs. I mean you can't expect all other batsmen to fail if the pitch was so easy to bat on. Raina is a walking wicket and Kohli cant be brought in just yet. So I guess Mukund should play at no.3 and Dravid, Sachin, Laxman move a place down.

Mukund needs to cut down on his shots though, expansive drives and he plays the ball to hard which lead to his down-fall. If he manages to negotiate the new ball defensively. He can score some big runs.

:dito: He has good technique and can manage the swing. But that tendency to go for flashy drives is not good in these conditions. He looks more comfortable than Raina.
