Temujin Khaghan Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 next time make the voters name visible... let there be some entertainment for others
Septimius Severus Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 Why dont you STFU and accept different people can have different opinion. PLEASE:
Cricket Tragic Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 I'm surprised that Steyn only has 70% of the votes tbh. The guy is bloody brilliant!
Trichromatic Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 I'm surprised that Steyn only has 70% of the votes tbh. The guy is bloody brilliant! I'm surprised that someone thinks Anderson is better than Steyn.
Cricket Tragic Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 I'm surprised that someone thinks Anderson is better than Steyn. Must have started watching cricket during the second innings at Lord's.
gaurav92 Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 Don't trust the poll. People may have different opinion than the poll I am sure 100% believe that Steyn is the best bowler right now.
Trichromatic Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 Must have started watching cricket during the second innings at Lord's. What about those who voted for Malinga and Zaheer and does other mean R Vinay Kumar? :phehehe: ICFers should develop the habit of making visible polls. :hitler:
CG Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 voted for steyn but he bowls in favourable conditions most times, zak has to be close second but he just cannot be fit for a series .If you talk about all format peformances then it has to zaheer as steyn is not that good in odis
Trichromatic Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 voted for steyn but he bowls in favourable conditions most times' date='zak has to be close second but he just cannot be fit for a series .If you talk about all format peformances then it has to zaheer as steyn is not that good in odis[/quote'] He hasn't played many ODI matches, but often he has shown what he is capable of. WC match, he just blew away Indian lower order and restricted our team to a much lower score than expected. Very few bowlers can do that in this era. In test matches, he is way ahead of others. Bowling in favorable condition argument is similar to arguments of English commies that Indian batsmen can bat only on flat track. Just like we say that if batting is easy here then why don't others do well. Even in favorable conditions he has done better than others. His performance in subcontinent also has been very good. He has pace, ability to swing the ball, control over line and length and he seems to be very fit player. It's hard to find all these qualities in one bowler these days. Dale Steyn
Ultimate_Game Posted August 10, 2011 Posted August 10, 2011 Dale Steyn and Zaheer when fully fit. Steyn has pace and Zaheer has variety.
pinkfreud Posted August 10, 2011 Posted August 10, 2011 Must have started watching cricket during the second innings at Lord's. :cantstop: @ topic: Dale Steyn by a country mile, and then some more.
Trichromatic Posted July 22, 2012 Posted July 22, 2012 Anderson has done very well in last 2 years. He has gone for more than 100 runs in this inning. Last time he went for 100 runs was against SA in 2010. 49 innings in between the two matches.
Dravid_TheWall Posted July 22, 2012 Posted July 22, 2012 Capable of getting wickets in All formats though a good test record helps. :yay:
Trichromatic Posted July 22, 2012 Posted July 22, 2012 oops! Looks like I shouldn't have bumped this one :nervous:
Crookbond Posted July 22, 2012 Posted July 22, 2012 oops! Looks like I shouldn't have bumped this one :nervous: :bumsmack:
Dravid_TheWall Posted July 22, 2012 Posted July 22, 2012 oops! Looks like I shouldn't have bumped this one :nervous: Just brought back reminders when he said capable of getting wickets in all formats. Only few people have talent for this. :hatsoff:
Old guy Posted July 22, 2012 Posted July 22, 2012 oops! Looks like I shouldn't have bumped this one :nervous: FML :((
