Ponting's comments on Kumble and Dhoni

Long interview but section on India:

Australia have tours of Sri Lanka and South Africa and two Tests against New Zealand before the Indian series begins in Melbourne on Boxing Day, but Australia up against India is always one of cricket's biggest and most volatile clashes. There is understandable trepidation about how India will behave this time around after a meltdown four years ago had their officials threatening to abandon the tour. However, relationships between players have improved with constant contract through the IPL, and Ponting believes that MS Dhoni will be a different type of leader to Anil Kumble. Ponting was particularly impressed with Dhoni's recall of England's Ian Bell during the second Test this week, when Bell walked off believing it was tea and was then run out. "From the outside Dhoni has always been pretty willing to play the right way," Ponting said. "Four years ago there was a different captain and he had a fair bit to say about different things. "I thought he was way out of line with some of the things that he said. "The right outcome has been met (with Bell's recall), which is what you want to see in the game. That's a good sign for international cricket." However, Ponting believes the series against India will still have a sharp edge. "I think they're a lot different when they play us and Dhoni himself has made that pretty clear. He says he's a walker against everybody except Australia. "We'll wait and see how they go out here. "It will be a good contest. "Every contest we've had against them for 10 years has been a good contest, whether it was Twenty20, one-day or a Test match, it's been great cricket."

This is getting very predictable. Keeping quiet, suddenly giving mental disintegration interviews and getting pwned after... the story of Australian cricket under Ponting's leadership over the past 2 yrs.

Punter is just being punter. Who is a bigger whinner? Punter or Sanga?
Whingakkara wins this one hands down. Punter is a known whiner so it's like the known devil v/s the unknown devil. Whingakkara goes around making speeches for MCC and all that bull and yet keeps whining and whinging like only he can

Seriously who cares what Ponting has to say? He's no longer captain, and without McGrath/Warne/Langer he was found out as an ordinary leader who couldn't inspire his men. He should just stick to batting because even at that, his form has been ordinary the last two years.

Anything special on that? A Video link would do.
Lady Jaya got caught behind. The umpires decided to consult and Sanga went down the wicket to have a chat with Lady. Ponting got angry and basically told Sanga to **** off.
