Cric_is_Life Posted August 8, 2011 Posted August 8, 2011 Only once - 96 WC Semi against SL. SL was a minnow team those days. After the win against Pak, I thought we almost made it to the final untill SRT got out and then the collapse... I felt better when SL won the cup beating aussies. :((
nballa Posted August 8, 2011 Posted August 8, 2011 i did back in the 90's when cricket was actual passion not a group - circle jerking to cheerleaders organized by film stars. tears are too valuable a bodily fluid to be wasted on these fools.
Midfielder Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 Not cried but massively pissed after loss to Pakistan in tests.
flamy Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 NO! When I lived in India, we would play cricket in my friend's back yard after every Indian loss. Kinda try to consolidate the lack of runs/wickets on our own. It helped us relieve the depression. ROFL, I did the same. And then, as the . age set in, I and my friend used to promptly head to the computer and slug it out in Cricket '97! :woot: In a ODI, I had my number 8 and 9 score dubbul-centuries! B->
Desi Cartman Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 ROFL, I did the same. And then, as the . age set in, I and my friend used to promptly head to the computer and slug it out in Cricket '97! :woot: In a ODI, I had my number 8 and 9 score dubbul-centuries! B-> lol we used to play cricket for hours everyday even duing college days and after it got dark we continued with cricket 97 (mind you Ashes tour edition ) BTW we played on my friends PC and the bastard used to play for hrs everyday and pwned me 90% of the time :((
Raghav_12 Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 I have had tears in my eyes on few occasions in relation with cricket. 97 Barabados Test Match - India could not chase even 120 runs in fourth innings. That would have been India's first test win outside sub-continent since I started watching cricket. I had to wait for another 5 Years until Port-Of-Spain and Headingley happened. 99 Chennai Test Match 2011 - WC Final.
jonas10 Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 Sigh...why did people cry in 99 we trashed Pakistan the next match.
Vijay.Sharma Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 ROFL, I did the same. And then, as the . age set in, I and my friend used to promptly head to the computer and slug it out in Cricket '97! :woot: In a ODI, I had my number 8 and 9 score dubbul-centuries! B->I bet it was against Pakis
NareshK Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 Sigh...why did people cry in 99 we trashed Pakistan the next match. Anil Kumble took 10 wickets in an innings.B->
Ultimate_Game Posted August 10, 2011 Posted August 10, 2011 Never actually cried but had a few low moments... 1. 1996 WC semi final 2. 1998 Test loss to WI when we failed to chase 120 3. 1999 WC loss to Zim which effectively knocked us out of the tourney 4. 1999 Test loss to Chennai when the tail crumbled after Tendulkar masterclass 5. 2003 WC final loss 6. 2008 Sydney Test - more angry than hurt But have to say that since 2000s there have been lot more happy moments than low ones. Thank you Team India, always proud to follow you :hatsoff:
