Cricketics Posted August 8, 2011 Posted August 8, 2011 lol. This game didn't knock us out. We won the next three. and to tell you the truth - All the three teams which lost to us got knocked out. after this defeat against zim we played TEAMS IN THIS ORDER Kenya - Tendulkar retursn from India after his Dad's death. and scores century. Kenya knocked out of tourney. SRI LANKA - THEY GET KNOCKED OUT AFTER THAT DEFEAT. Gang and Dravid - ownage is here at taunton. England - Javed Akhtar raises the finger. 2 day ODI and India goes through to the super 6. Remember that wc like yesterday.
Number Posted August 8, 2011 Posted August 8, 2011 not on any defeat but I had tears in my eyes when Dada retired.
Stuge Posted August 8, 2011 Posted August 8, 2011 I used to cry, when I was small and dumb ,but not anymore.
Chaos Posted August 8, 2011 Posted August 8, 2011 no point in crying for our cricketers. Dont give a jack sh&t about how we feel like.
MonishaSarabhai Posted August 8, 2011 Posted August 8, 2011 Chennai 1999 vs Pak. i was just in school :sniffle: i cried more when i heard in the news that Sachin didnt come for the presentation because he was crying in the dressing room. :sniffle: :sniffle:
Desi Cartman Posted August 8, 2011 Posted August 8, 2011 I didnt cry but was very close to it when India lost the semi final in 96 :(( I saw so sad that I refused dinner .. that too Rajma Chawal :omg:
rahuliverpool Posted August 8, 2011 Posted August 8, 2011 Won't say cried, but was super depressed on four occasions - '99 Chennai against Pak, '03 WC Final loss, '07 exit and Sachin's 175 at Hyderabad '09. Sachin was in tears during all four instances so it was only fair that I shared similar sentiments :((:((
Bdeshpatriot Posted August 8, 2011 Posted August 8, 2011 same here...one of my indian friends told me he cried during 96 semi final, was it that bad? rahul the cricinfo editor also told he was in tears when he was a young kid watching that match......
Alchemist Posted August 8, 2011 Posted August 8, 2011 Never cried, but was totally depressed by 99 Chennai test and 96 semi final. We were in good positions in both games.

vamos_rafa Posted August 8, 2011 Posted August 8, 2011 Chennai 99 test and 96 WC, when againt SL. When Jayasuriya gave us a real battering. I was young then and the way he ass raped us, was painful for me then ...
ShebbySB Posted August 8, 2011 Posted August 8, 2011 Generally I don't cry but get very depressed after every Indian loss.Nowadays which doesn't happen that happen. But I remember I cried like hell after the WC final '11.We won it in style & I wept in style though that was pretty natural I reckon:party:
Bdeshpatriot Posted August 8, 2011 Posted August 8, 2011 Just curious....did any of u guys cry when India lost to Bangladesh in 2007 WC? my eyes had become watery, but as they say, they were tears of joy.....however, dint cry for 2011 loss against india....was depressed but....dint also cry for 58 and 78....but i never cried for any bangladesh cricket match as much as i did agasint eng in wc before shafiul took us home...i was literallly weeping, moaning, and screaming like a kid departing mom for the first time when going to school
kubrickian Posted August 8, 2011 Posted August 8, 2011 WC 96 Semi Final - I was disappointed we lost but watching Kambli cry made me lose it. 99 Chennai Test - Sachin making a great century and yet our tail couldnt cross the line. I dont think I will ever cry when India loses in my life again. The feeling was different back then. Much more passionate and pure.
Mariyam Posted August 8, 2011 Posted August 8, 2011 I never cried when India lost. 90% of my quota of tears were shed when Mihir Virani died in Kyunki saas bhi kabhi bahu thi and when SRK died in Baazigar. The only time I cried ( in a cricketing context) was when we won the WC in April and the team took Sachin for a round of honour. But that was true of the 40 odd thousand others at the stadium too. That was some feeling. :isalute:
