Blue Panther Posted August 20, 2011 Posted August 20, 2011 Time for laxman to retire? Considering his fitness(not the age). I think he should retire after the australian tour.
Fontaine Posted August 20, 2011 Posted August 20, 2011 It's a redundant question. The way most of the seniors have played they have already retired. They just forgot to announce it.
maniac Posted August 20, 2011 Posted August 20, 2011 can't beleive people asking for seniors' heads after this series...take vvs, srt, sehwag out and replace them with Mukund,Rohit and Kohli and we will have an even more embarassing side.

asterix Posted August 20, 2011 Posted August 20, 2011 can't beleive people asking for seniors' heads after this series...take vvs' date='srt, sehwag out and replace them with Mukund,Rohit and Kohli and we will have an even more embarassing side.[/quote'] So be it..Don't want these so called seniors to go back again score useless runs on flat tracks..
Dhondy Posted August 20, 2011 Posted August 20, 2011 I have a better idea. Let's build a new ICF- Inquisitive (Former) Cricket Fans. Let's retrain our minds, give up our addiction to this worthless game, our allegiance to this useless side, and turn this place into a maths & science website. Imagine if this place was buzzing with the best in the business?
asterix Posted August 20, 2011 Posted August 20, 2011 Just deduct the IPL moneis from their bank balances and see how these feckers start taking their cricket seriously..

I tried to give up cricket but just not able to :(( Even when not seeing the match it is difficult to restrain myself from checking the score every 2 mins

Imagine if this place was buzzing with the best in the business? you won't get even 1% response for that... cricket is easy to comment.... if you win laugh at other teams...lose laugh at our own team... abuse everyone...Pickup opposition countries papers and find any article which can used for deep analysis and feel self pity... how can you provide all these in Maths and Science forums? **** By the way I am not good at science or Maths eiether
bulbul Posted August 20, 2011 Posted August 20, 2011 Kick all the rockstars out..Useless FTBs.. better to concentrate on Anna thread...even that will stale in a weeks time

maniac Posted August 20, 2011 Posted August 20, 2011 ^ And you want them to be kicked out on basis of 1 bad series....Think rationally bro...I know you are upset with this series and so am I, See how many times the ususal suspects feature in the top 4-5 against overseas teams outside the subcontinent

People have already discussed all these points and you are largely bringing up past performances when people here are talking about building for the future.

The immediate future does look bleak in terms of future batting and bowling but unfortunately we need to stick with more or less the same team for atleast 3 more years
maniac Posted August 20, 2011 Posted August 20, 2011 ^ and also I was responding to Asterix quote that the seniors score usless flat track runs...It could have been oft repeated but needs to be reminded time and time again whenever there is a knee-jerk reaction
asterix Posted August 20, 2011 Posted August 20, 2011 ^ Okay.. Maybe knee jerk reaction. But what essentially I'm trying to say is that for Bujurg(oldies), it's time now to slowly phase them out.. For middle level seniors like Sehwag, Gauti etc, they've too much attitude and which sometimes affect the team.. So a kick in their backsides in one or two series is in the order.. Bottomline, we are on the decline now. It's better to have youngsters failing in the team for few series than the seniors failing and suddenly leaving the scene..

Most of the idiots on the forum don't have the IQ to understand that.
ganeshran Posted August 20, 2011 Posted August 20, 2011 Gunner are you proposing making all the three seniors in the team retire at once?
