anotherhawkeye Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 3rd test will be over by tea tomorrow, so time to move on to the 4th test. Want to bench Raina, Ishant and Sreesanth to give chance to Virat, RP and Munaf. RP and Munaf might not be much better than Ishant or Sreesanth, but at 3-0, might as well give them some match practice and see what they are capable of. Same token, want to give chance to Ohja, but it might be unfair to Mishra to be dropped after only one test. He is our highest wicket taker in 3rd test. I might get flamed for this, but I'm leaning towards benching Sehwag as well. He is our best test player in the recent times, but he is in poor form from the SA tour itself. He also needs to rest his shoulder. May be it's time to give Mukund a chance again. My XI: Mukund/Sehwag Gambhir Dravid SRT VVS Virat Dhoni PK RP Munaf Ohja/Mishra
Chaos Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 lawl mukhund over sehwag... i know he was a failure this test... but LAWL.
anotherhawkeye Posted August 12, 2011 Author Posted August 12, 2011 Who cares?. Seriously I mean' date=' common,.[/quote'] Every one should, because 3-1 or 3-0 would be better than 4-0.
yoda Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 We aren't winning the 4th test for sure. Now 3-0 vs 4-0 really doesn't matter.
panesarv Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 Who cares?. Seriously I mean' date=' common,.[/quote'] This is the attitude that has ****ed us
Cricketics Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 We aren't winning the 4th test for sure. Now 3-0 vs 4-0 really doesn't matter. Watchya talkin about amigo.. IT'S ours. We hardly lose last test in any series.
Pagalpanti Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 I can see only Sreesanth getting dropped for RP, rest will remain same. Oval is known for churning out batting pitches, bat first set up a big total and we'll be able to draw/win. If we lose toss and they bat first, we're all set for a whitewash.

Are you cool with Raina ? Dude is a walking wicket...
Stan AF Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 Sorry guys I wasn't clear in my last post. I don't see any team set by India to draw a test in the next match. I am glad to b proved wrong.
yoda Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 I want to see Munaf, Mukund, Ojha play in place of Sree, Sehwag (rest him some more) and Mishra (frankly he is useless). Kohli in place of Raina is also an option, altho I am personally a Raina fan.
Ultimate_Game Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 Wish we had the likes of Rohit Sharma and Rahane on hand so that we could at least blood them in the meaningless test.
Kumar Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 Who cares?. Seriously I mean' date=' common,.[/quote'] Agreed! We've lost this series, does it matter whos in and not in the final test, quite frankly the only thing im looking fwrd to is the ODI series and tendulkar for obvious reasons
anotherhawkeye Posted August 13, 2011 Author Posted August 13, 2011 Mukund over Sehwag? :hysterical: Sehwag is not fit and undercooked. Fully fit Sehwag >>>> Mukund. Right now he is just a shadow of his own self.
Midfielder Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 Mukund should play. All the players who did not get a chance should play. Series is over might as well clear the bench.
