the aura faded a while ago. its not about failing away from home. they are failing at home as well. 15/5 against new zealand. harbhajan singh saving india twice, that rung a bell. then against west indies both home and away. we nearly blew the delhi test after giving sammy 4 cheap wickets in the first innings. our batting unit is in decline, our test team is in decline. better to stop the rot now by getting rid of worthless pieces of trash like dravid and dhoni.

I'm extremely disappointed at how masterfully these rascals have undone the brilliant work done by our new bowling line-up.... I mean not many expected us to take 20 wkts and the bowlers actually gave us a very reasonable target after the BS first innings collapse (Without Zak, it could well have been a 400 run target).... But once again the greats rose up to the occasion and screwed India big time. Sydney and adelaide might be draws coz they are flat tracks but perth will another destruction for these rascals.

i dont know WHY ppl keep mentioning the pitches??? india are't scoring ANYWHERE. pitches and conditions have NOTHING to do with this decline. india's batting were 15/5 on a flat track like ahmedabad against NEW ZEALAND. they were 220 all out on the slowest pitch imaginable at delhi against the WEST INDIES. 240/8 on the 4th day on a turner at mumbai. even in england, ppl keep talking about pitches being the indian's undoing but that isn't true - edgbaston was a pretty flat track, as was lords on that final day. so was the oval. apart from trent bridge, they were all good batting wickets. take a look at india's record in england in 2007, 2002, 1996, they scored shitloads on those EXACT same wickets. this MCG pitch isn't a bad pitch either. no demons in it AT ALL. BASED ON RECENT FORM - DO YOU GUYS REALLY EXPECT INDIA'S BATTING LINEUP TO BAT OUT DRAWS ON FLATTER WICKETS LIKE ADELAIDE OR EVEN SYDNEY? they could BARELY bat draws AT HOME. here is the reality: this indian batting lineup is getting OLD, and with age, there is a loss in reflexes, longer stretches of bad form, and a general wearing of ability. THATS the problem. our batsmen arent scoring runs ANYWHERE. changes need to be made ASAP.

5 losses in a raw. And batsmen are to be blamed for most of those defeats. I think its time to move on after the series. After this series we play mostly in sub continent, so it will give time to younger ones to settle down. Don't want all of the seniors to go at once but in a phased manner even if they do well in the remaining matches.
