anotherhawkeye
Good to see some positive attitude from an Indian player. Link to comment
vamos_rafa
We have messed up a great opportunity. While watching the final few overs in the 3rd days play, I felt that we certainly have messed up a great chance to get back in the series. The amount of turn and bounce that's there in the pitch, would have really tested the Poms had they would have been made to bat 4th. Agreed that we just don't have the bowlers but somehow,I felt that this would have behaved like a sub-continent track on day 4 and 5. And the way Raina was bowling, that certainly made me feel the same. Link to comment
zep1706
Totally agreed and most of our batsmen got out playing stupid shots in the first innings. This has been a series of lost opportunities, I still rue about the first two days at TB, oh boy didn't we just throw it away. Link to comment
vamos_rafa
^ Yes and even at lord's, when they were 61-5, we should HAVE gone for the kill. That's what champion sides do. Link to comment

tapish
WTF is this ? Sacking captains, selectors, this is completely mad. Is this a sarcastic thread or I am missing something? Anyways I am with 5, **** happens Link to comment
tapish
what a thread, we can only save this game if it rains for 130 overs. I cannot see this team lasting for more than 50 overs. Link to comment

saneindian
I would be happy to see our batsmen not getting out playing attacking shots. Good balls get you out, fine, but show some fight. Link to comment
Deleted_User_1
On the 4th day............... 1. Dravid is going to resist and score a few before getting out to a jaffer. 2. Gambhir will hang around and then give his wicket away by poking outside the off stump. 3. SRT will get out cheaply AGAIN!! 4. Laxman will play an aggresive knock for a few runs, some lovely drives and then get out to a poor shot like a pull. 5. Raina will be bounced out cheaply. 6. Dhobi will not last long, one innings was enough. The rest will won't last more than 10 overs. It will be all over 1 hour past tea! Link to comment

cameron_black
Thankfully we have another test. Otherwise he flew first class all the way from india to last 2 balls. well, one more test means he might end up with four ducks in four balls! :giggle: Link to comment
