Sidhoni Posted August 5, 2011 Posted August 5, 2011 Could have played both to see who plays better, Hoping Mishra does well
Jayaram_IND Posted August 5, 2011 Posted August 5, 2011 Since they havent picked ojha shows mishra is certain to play unlless dhoni does a wc final like decission to play sreeshanth out of the blue.Same goes for raina vs kohli debate.
Septimius Severus Posted August 5, 2011 Posted August 5, 2011 3 seamers + spinner for variation on a flat wicket. Warwickshire scored 800 runs not so long ago (Lara made 501*) at Edgbaston.
pensionplan Posted August 5, 2011 Posted August 5, 2011 3 seamers + spinner for variation Warwickshire scored 800 runs not so long ago (Lara made 501*) at Edgbaston.Who is Lara?
Jayaram_IND Posted August 5, 2011 Posted August 5, 2011 3 seamers + spinner for variation Warwickshire scored 800 runs not so long ago (Lara made 501*) at Edgbaston. Hey man that was in 1994!! Here is scorecard http://static.cricinfo.com/db/ARCHIVE/1994/ENG_LOCAL/CC/R06/WARWICKS_DURHAM_CC_02-06JUN1994.html
Jayaram_IND Posted August 5, 2011 Posted August 5, 2011 Oh silly me. Thanks Jayaram Its ok everyone makes mistakes
Blue Panther Posted August 5, 2011 Posted August 5, 2011 i would love to c indian team playing with 4 seamers. but i am afraid it won't happen. mishy will play i guess.
Cric_is_Life Posted August 5, 2011 Posted August 5, 2011 Mishra should get the nod. England batsmen have weakness against leg spinners.
Cricket Tragic Posted August 5, 2011 Posted August 5, 2011 If they were even thinking of Ojha, they would have played him in the warm up. So it's Mishra or 4 seamers.
rahuld9 Posted August 5, 2011 Posted August 5, 2011 What to do at Edgbaston? Bat first: big score... or let Zak (if playing) try to bundle em out for a low score and get big lead?? And team selection: Mukund/Raina/Kohli Ojha/Mishra?

jonas10 Posted August 6, 2011 Posted August 6, 2011 No way will Ojha get a game ahead of Mishra who hasnt even had a chance to prove himself yet in the series. Thats essentially Fletcher and the BCCI admitting they got the original squad wrong. For the record i think Ojha is better than Mishra.
NareshK Posted August 6, 2011 Posted August 6, 2011 England will probably prepare flat tracks which will help them draw matches. I dont think Indian bowling is good enough to take 20 wickets on flat tracks.
Trichromatic Posted August 6, 2011 Posted August 6, 2011 England will probably prepare flat tracks which will help them draw matches. I dont think Indian bowling is good enough to take 20 wickets on flat tracks. Edgbaston won't be a flat track. We lost match on flat track of Lords earlier.
rahuld9 Posted August 6, 2011 Posted August 6, 2011 Zak is out of 3rd test Source:Aaj tak, hindi news channel Uh oh!
Trichromatic Posted August 6, 2011 Posted August 6, 2011 Worst part is that he hasn't been replaced yet.
