ganeshran Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 Had to re-read the title of the thread a few times. Thought this thread was about a new-found pace talent called Akhri Khwaish causing terror in the Jharkhand Premier League. :hysterical::hysterical:
veer Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 yeahh. its a very demoralizing situation but that comes with the territory... i hope we bounce back in ODIs..
dragonfly Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 Just think of it mate, a bowler with that name would be a FREAKING STUD. Just seeing his name flash on the scoreboard would make the batsman faint at the crease. Maybe we have found a solution to our pace bowling woes??
Desi Cartman Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 yeahh. its a very demoralizing situation but that comes with the territory... i hope we bounce back in ODIs.. Please dont use that word :asleep:
J P K Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 Why are Dhoni and co. laughing on the field? Just shows they dont give a sh*t , these are a bunch of overpaid ladoos. The only person I respect is Dravid. The rest are useless lazy muppets. Where is the sense of pride? They take playing for chennai super kings or some other moronic franchise more seriously than country. The difference between 2007 and 2011 for a similar bunch of players is alarming to say the least! yes everyone taking the match as a joke only dravid is taking the match seriously by consistently dropping catches and making it easy for england
b555 Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 man taking the windies series lightly and allowing those players to go and play there who wouldnt evenplay the england series has cost us dearly .. anways its for good we are going down.. will surely get the recovey started soon enough and in a good swing
Karan114 Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 Still can't get over the fact that SL lost the WC final to India. :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical: You can't even win a single test in India. :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical: Its hilarious how these Lankans and Paks (a team so pathetic that it couldn't even beat the West Indies; even in our current poor state, we still beat WI in WI) come on here to laugh at our team, when even while struggling, we are superior to their sorry teams. England may be slaughtering us on this tour but it still doesn't make Lanka any better than India - hell, this team hasn't even won a single Test since Murali retired.
GrassHoppers Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 I think crux of the matter is India hugely under-rated the Poms given the success in their previous tours to England. Anyone agree?
rkt.india Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 We have never won a Test series outside india as a no.1 team. This tour just showed us without zaheer our team can't compete against a good side. won in West Indies outside subcontinent where same England team lost the series last time.
Rahul Dravid Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 Had to re-read the title of the thread a few times. Thought this thread was about a new-found pace talent called Akhri Khwaish causing terror in the Jharkhand Premier League. LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL i thought it was a player too....
Rahul Dravid Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 Just think of it mate' date=' a bowler with that name would be a [b']FREAKING STUD. Just seeing his name flash on the scoreboard would make the batsman faint at the crease. Maybe we have found a solution to our pace bowling woes?? change Sree's name to Akhri

pinkfreud Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 Strauss won't declare. He knows the longer India stay in the field the weaker they will get mentally. The next few sessions will be all about shattering what little confidence the Indian players have left. +1. I reckon they'll go on to score around 720 thereabouts.
tapish Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 I think they will bat for 70-75 overs today, score 300 runs and then declare, they don't want India to take rest today and come back fresh in the morning and bat. They will put us into bat today for 10-15 overs and pick up a couple of early wickets.
rkt.india Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 Yes that's fine. But I still think Tyagi needs a few more uninterrupted seasons to show that his body can handle it. I think same, but not many. He must play this full season and take wickets which should be enough for him to show he is fit. Because taking wickets was not his problem, it was mainly fitness.
