vishalvirsingh Posted August 17, 2011 Posted August 17, 2011 But but but...these young players are not yet 'ready'... enuf time is spent on umesh yadav and possibly he needs to scale up soon ...a fast bowler normally has a 5 to 6 year span and if we spend too much time he may again turn into a trundler. Varun is already having fitness issues and it seems he should be trained by fletcher n eric and pushed into test cricket after 6 months. ishant shud be our sperhead supported by Varun and yadav. i m not sure any other pacer is in contention or not. Vinay is not a fast bowler and neither is PK.
