div Posted August 21, 2011 Posted August 21, 2011 South Indians are probably the fastest runners in South Asia,it has nothing to do with meat eating. Meat eating???There are plenty of Muslims in India :haha:
Blue Panther Posted August 21, 2011 Posted August 21, 2011 An article indicating Testosterone in Veggie Foods There are also high testosterone food items that are not considered meats. Beans are an ideal part of the testosterone increasing diet with their high zinc content. Nuts are also high in zinc and are a good dietary inclusion. In the grains family, whole grains and fortified cereals are very high in zinc and therefore are good choices. Finally, many dairy products are testosterone enhancing foods. Milk, yogurt, and cottage cheese are all high in zinc and ideal if you're looking for so called testosterone food. In conclusion, if you are suffering from low levels of testosterone, one of the best things you can do is include high testosterone foods in your day to day life. Focusing on ensuring that you have a good testosterone diet is a simple way to avoid problems related to low testosterone. OK, but do search in website whether veg or non veg foods has higher levels of testosterone. Beans are good source of protein if it is combined with zinc. The problem is u r not gonna have these beans or yogurt and cottage cheese in indian foods. Most of us dont eat beans or yogurt or cottage cheese. But non veggies do get testestorone from their childhood because they eat non veg everyday.

Well i do not feel the need to compare which has more, or which is more useful, all i want to state is it is ridiculous to say people without meat in their diet would lack in their overall strength, growth etc. I feel there are ways to work it out, if i can do a 2 mins search and give 1000's of foods which are non meat and have high testosterone, zinc, protein etc. what's stopping the athletes players to work it out themselves, what's good for them, these days a 3yr kid can do Facebook, Youtube etc. i'm sure if there is a passionate kid who is working on the aspects of the game, can find out enough ways to be aggressive, competitive in the sport, it has to come from within. The resources are ample.

But non veggies consume testosterone everyday. But i do agree with the fact that kids nowadays dont workout much, while i am typing this my neighbour's 8 year old son is asking me to give the laptop to play online games.:haha::haha: .

Jayaram_IND Posted August 21, 2011 Posted August 21, 2011 How good are the other teams in the emerging players tournament?
CSK Fanatic Posted August 21, 2011 Posted August 21, 2011 Contrary to popular belief, India is not a predominantly vegetarian country, only 31% of Indians are vegetarians (Majority from Hindi speaking central Indian states). States from which Sreesanth etc hail this percentage drops to 9% and beef is consumed. It's just poor knowledge, Astonishingly, a third of the wealthiest 20% of Indian children are malnourished, too, and they are neither poor nor excluded. Per person, India eats less, and worse, than it used to. Poverty and Religion rituals are not only factors, bad eating practices are also responsible. Diet should be balanced. I started to cut meat once my body stopped growing and metabolism started decreasing in mid 20s. Preparing meat based dishes is big hassle for my family, my mom is heart patient, I dont want her to be in kitchen all day. I go to gym, workout, eat eggs and every weakend I consume meat.
Cricket Tragic Posted August 21, 2011 Posted August 21, 2011 How good are the other teams in the emerging players tournament? NZ played their 'A' team. SA and Aus had a much younger team.
Jayaram_IND Posted August 21, 2011 Posted August 21, 2011 NZ played their 'A' team. SA and Aus had a much younger team. So is our success attributed to better young players or more experienced players?
Cricket Tragic Posted August 21, 2011 Posted August 21, 2011 So is our success attributed to better young players or more experienced players? Bit of both really. It was more about exposure to the conditions and the experience rather than the quality of the opposition.
Jayaram_IND Posted August 21, 2011 Posted August 21, 2011 Bit of both really. It was more about exposure to the conditions and the experience rather than the quality of the opposition. But we could have sent more youngsters instead of the likes of shikar dhawan who is no emerging player
Cricket Tragic Posted August 21, 2011 Posted August 21, 2011 But we could have sent more youngsters instead of the likes of shikar dhawan who is no emerging player Yeah, we had that debate on this forum.
Jayaram_IND Posted August 21, 2011 Posted August 21, 2011 Yeah' date=' we had that debate on this forum.[/quote'] Most of the players are ok except Dhawan,Vinay kumar and srikanth anirudha as the first 2 are already experienced while the last one is not really needed and doesnt look a prospect. But selections of Ashok meenaria,Abdulla and rahul sharma are good ones.
Jayaram_IND Posted August 21, 2011 Posted August 21, 2011 How fast is sreenath aravind. In IPL he was inconsistent-One match he would be close to 140 and in another around 128.Think he relys only on changes of pace.
Fontaine Posted August 21, 2011 Posted August 21, 2011 I think there is plenty of talent there with guys like Ishant Sharma, Sudeep Tyagi, Varun Aaron, Umesh Yadav, Unaidkat, Aravind, Mithun, etc More than talent though, there needs to be a structured aproach to support and groom these young bowlers.

Pls delete unadkat and aravind from the list. Mithun can come good in the future, but we have other prospects like Shukla, shammi, and abu nechim.

Jayaram_IND Posted August 21, 2011 Posted August 21, 2011 Why cant we have a dedicated thread on Indias emerging bowlers?
