He is talking about the 'wobbly seam' one which can go either way supposedly. Asif is/was tremendous bowler. Shame.
Oh ok got it.James anderson is a real Student of the game always trying to learn from others like Zaheer Asif etc,

I agree but that doesn't mean he wasn't a great bowler.
Great bowler on the basis of 20 matches? Don't degrade the word great. Wasim, Waqar and Imran did a lot for their team to achieve it.

Asif was excellent with that delivery, I can remember only the likes of Waqar who would get a banana swing like that. Irfan early on used to swing it away nicely too. PK does it but is way too slow.

That wasn't swing, it was seam. It was an off-cutter, not an in-swinger.

Not a great but a good one. You have to achieve a lot before you can be termed a "great"

I'm not calling him a legend or putting him in the class as those 3. Umar Gul is a good bowler. Mohammad Asif was a great one.

Not really... Asif is a good bowler whereas Gul is average. Gul maybe a good or even a great T20 bowler but at Test level Gul is pretty average.

I would say Asif was probably the most skillful bowler in the world however he has thrown it all away like many Pakistani cricketers for a bit of cash.
I think Mohd Aamir is most skilled bowler at the moment. He's is just too good, hope he retains the skill when he comes back.
