wobblydoggy Posted August 20, 2011 Author Posted August 20, 2011 Did England underprepare in their away series against India, West Indies and Sri Lanka as well? You know England has lost to all the three teams mentioned in their last overseas trips? In the last 9 test series since the Ashes (5-0), England have won 4 of them, lost 3 of them and drew one. Since 2009 in WI when we hit the low of 51 all out, we have not lost a series at all. We were in turmoil in 2007,8 and 9, but since then we have rolled WI, Aus twice, Drawn with SA, beatem Pakistan, Bangladesh and Beaten SL I think since 2009 we have competed in 8 or 9 series and not lost one of them. Then there is this series where I think we are winning, just:hysterical:
Sidhoni Posted August 20, 2011 Posted August 20, 2011 ^B4 this series, we had not lost a series since 2008 :thefinger:

Ultimate_Game Posted August 20, 2011 Posted August 20, 2011 Wobbly you got the bragging rights for now brah' date=' but don't get too over the top, world goes round :winky:[/quote'] Isn't bragging rights all about going over the top and rubbing it in to the other teams and fans :winky:
Deleted_User_1 Posted August 20, 2011 Posted August 20, 2011 Wobbly you got the bragging rights for now brah' date=' but don't get too over the top, world goes round :winky:[/quote'] Don't worry, when chips are down he won't be hanging around here!
vayuu1 Posted August 20, 2011 Posted August 20, 2011 Don't worry' date=' when chips are down he won't be hanging around here![/quote'] i don't want chip's to be down ............. i want chips to be knocked, dismantled, detroyed done and dusted :whack:
wobblydoggy Posted August 20, 2011 Author Posted August 20, 2011 Don't worry' date=' when chips are down he won't be hanging around here![/quote'] When you get a good team in fifteen years I promise to pop by if you are still here:hysterical:
FreakazoiD Posted August 20, 2011 Posted August 20, 2011 Wobbly you got the bragging rights for now brah' date=' but don't get too over the top, world goes round :winky:[/quote'] Unfortunately I doubt the world will go round that far, we certainly won't be beating England 4-0 in a series any time soon, even if we play on gobar ke pitches like Kanpur. And not by an innings and 242 runs anyway. Had England not declared in their last 2 innings (they had to, for time), they would have scored 1000+ runs quite easily, and we can't even get to 300. That's the gulf between the two sides for you.
Blue Panther Posted August 20, 2011 Posted August 20, 2011 Wobbly, we are here, Aren't u too old for jumping around and chest thumping?:winky:
wobblydoggy Posted August 20, 2011 Author Posted August 20, 2011 Wobbly' date=' we are here, Aren't u too old for jumping around and chest thumping?:winky:[/quote'] Hey England have been cr*p for decades, I have waited years for this, it is not my fault my hair turned grey in the waiting:winky:
Fontaine Posted August 20, 2011 Posted August 20, 2011 Why is Dravid still batting? Someone from the dressing room needs to tell him the team is still on holidays! :haha:
Ultimate_Game Posted August 20, 2011 Posted August 20, 2011 Hey England have been cr*p for decades' date=' I have waited years for this, it is not my fault my hair turned grey in the waiting:winky:[/quote'] :two_thumbs_up: You certainly should. I sure would have if my team had come on top and did when we won the World Cup
maniac Posted August 20, 2011 Posted August 20, 2011 Hey England have been cr*p for decades' date=' I have waited years for this, it is not my fault my hair turned grey in the waiting:winky:[/quote'] After the epic Ashes win, there was the worldcup performance and before that the drubbing from Aus in the ODI series. You deserve to rub it in our faces for the test series debacle but don't get way ahead of yourself in hyping up about this English side.
Ultimate_Game Posted August 20, 2011 Posted August 20, 2011 Why is Dravid still batting? Someone from the dressing room needs to tell him the team is still on holidays! :haha: This series only 2 people showed up from our side - Dravid and PK. Other than these two Ishant and Dhoni were there intermittently. Rest of the squad just showed up.
bulbul Posted August 20, 2011 Posted August 20, 2011 Why is Dravid still batting? Someone from the dressing room needs to tell him the team is still on holidays! :haha: Sad to see his face when he is mailing helplessly.....better if he Retire after this series

jonas10 Posted August 20, 2011 Posted August 20, 2011 I never said that south africa doesnt produce great cricketers :winky:
