G_B_ Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 bodes well for mumbai ranji team when a close rival is losing
Magneto Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 Dinda - 87/4, against a strong TN line-up, with 5 Indian internationals. Not bad. Balaji 49 not out :--D
saneindian Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 21 wickets for Dinda now, 20 for Gony..yet they remain the forgotten pacers in our domestic cricket. Both of them and Abu Nechim were not even picked for the Challenger Trophy.

CoverDrive Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 UP 79/10 and 17/1 against Railways !!! S Bangar 5 wickets

That's shocking - Dinda was good enough to play ODIs for India (Asia Cup) last year but now doesn't even make any of the Challenger teams? Yet more selection inconsistency.

Yet more selection inconsistency. These were the pacers selected for this year's Challenger Trophy: India Red - Pankaj Singh, Jaydev Unadkat, T Sudhendra, RP Singh India Blue - Irfan Pathan, YV Krishanarty, Prashant Parameshwaran, Pradeep Sangwan India Green - Abhimanyu Mithun, Samad Fallah, Ishwar Chaudhary, Sumit Narwal But no Dinda, Gony or Nechim. :-)

Really shows selectors know nothing about the bowlers they are selecting. I think they just check out the statistics in espncricinfo or bcci.com before making selections. Either they are incompetent or corrupt or both.
Magneto Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 I checked out the statistics of some of these guys as well. Cannot hold a candle in front of the 3 not selected.
