Mumbai will have the edge as TN have not really been blazing along in their last 2 games. TN's bowling should cause problems for Mumbai's top order. But of course, they will do their customary choke this year too :--D
StatsRock Posted January 5, 2012 Posted January 5, 2012 Why are Ranji's four day affairs? It surprises me that even at the semi-final stage, the Ranjis continue to be 4 days affairs. Since almost all of our bowlers stink at the international level, the only way for them to get better is to play more and try to take more wickets. We noticed in the QFs that by the middle of the third day or even earlier, there is no motivation left in taking wickets as the first innings lead has been established by then. The rest of the match is a farce. No wonder we have some weaklings passing off as bowlers and inefficient ones at that, who just cannot run through a batting line up.
