vamos_rafa Posted August 29, 2011 Posted August 29, 2011 Apparently performing well against India is the only criteria to be considered a good spinner' date=' therefore Shane Warne is a poor spin bowler.[/quote'] Yes, just like any batsman is rated by his performance against the best bowling line up of his era, similarly a spin bowler should be rated by his performance against the best players of spin.
vamos_rafa Posted August 29, 2011 Posted August 29, 2011 Who is better than Swann? Devendra Bishoo? Surely you cant be saying harbhajan? This is what they call, big fish or small pond!! With bhajji being out of form, there's no spin bowler currently who is good enough and hence you poms moan of him being the best spinner.
Serani Posted August 29, 2011 Posted August 29, 2011 Hi im Harbhajan Singh, I have been out of form for three years however I am still the best spinner in the world.
Rahul Dravid Posted August 29, 2011 Posted August 29, 2011 Hi im Harbhajan Singh' date=' I have been out of form for three years however I am still the best spinner in the world.[/quote'] im a Bhajji fan.. but i can't disagree to what you have to say. sadly, its a fact... congrats, your Swann is the best spin bowler in the world, but one of the reasons is, there is no competition right now... after Warney and Murali retired, the world longs for spin bowlers.

GrassHoppers Posted August 29, 2011 Posted August 29, 2011 Yes' date=' just like any batsman is rated by his performance against the best bowling line up of his era, similarly a spin bowler should be rated by his performance against the best players of spin.[/quote'] So are you saying Saqlain is better than Warne? :omg:
vamos_rafa Posted August 29, 2011 Posted August 29, 2011 So are you saying Saqlain is better than Warne? :omg: No, not that Saqlain was better than Warne. But just like some jackasses moan about Sachin not bein a match-winner similarly, Warnie's performances against India would be a blot on an otherwise wonderful career.
Rahul Dravid Posted August 29, 2011 Posted August 29, 2011 You forgot Kumble *** thats a stupid mistake, my bad.... I MISS KUMBLE...
CG Posted August 29, 2011 Posted August 29, 2011 Swann being the best spin bowler shows the standard of spin in world cricket,we have been spoilt by warne, murali, kumble .wish guys like bishoo, randiv, mendis, ashwin step up.

Spin has suffered most.
Jersey #10 Posted August 29, 2011 Posted August 29, 2011 Basically he is a crap bowler but better of crappier bowlers today. Looking at stats, let's break it down a little here. Against Australia - 40+ Against India - 40+ Against SA - 30+ In Australia - 40 In India - 40 In SA - 30 His best averages are in Bangladesh, WI and England (nothing to brag about) - 25ish I suspect a padosi troll in the OP

CG Posted August 29, 2011 Posted August 29, 2011 na mate ur the troll and first of all go check ur facts before you start spewing rubbish because if you went by facts and werent a bitter fan you would know he hasnt played against india in India and he got the most wickest v south africa sir please check your glasses,he has played in india during there last series
bhanu Posted August 29, 2011 Posted August 29, 2011 who cares about da strike rate? i dont even no wat dat means. da only tings matters is da average n nothing else and mayb economy rate. bowlers dat averages 20-25=very good 25-29 = decen/good and 29-38 = indian bowlers :giggle:
Moman211 Posted August 29, 2011 Author Posted August 29, 2011 sir please check your glasses' date='he has played in india during there last series[/quote'] Oh my mistake just checked but you have to remember this was his first series for 9 years and keeping that in mind 8 wickets in two matches isnt too bad considering he was tied in first place with ZAK and any way hes a way better bowler than 3 years ago
Rightarmfast Posted August 29, 2011 Posted August 29, 2011 na mate ur the troll and first of all go check ur facts before you start spewing rubbish because if you went by facts and werent a bitter fan you would know he hasnt played against india in India and he got the most wickest v south africa Please check it yourself and then decide who is trolling. I suggest without even knowing your player, do not come here to to claim big things ! Swannie played in India in the Pataudi trophy 08/09 with a grand average of 39.50 and a shattering strike rate of 75.3 ..Here you go ! His average is hugely bloated because of games against WI , Bangladesh and a stupid Pakistan team which has forgotten how to play, let alone tackle mediocre spinners. Please do a google search if thats simple for you to understand. And do not open your mouth before knowing stats. Just stop trolling here. I wonder how has the moderator allowed such obvious trolls on this forum. So, this leaves us with the fact that Swannie is nowhere close to being a good spinner, let alone great. He just relishes on getting wickets against the poorest of poor teams. Did you get that right, Sir ? Adios !
Rightarmfast Posted August 29, 2011 Posted August 29, 2011 Oh my mistake just checked but you have to remember this was his first series for 9 years and keeping that in mind 8 wickets in two matches isnt too bad considering he was tied in first place with ZAK and any way hes a way better bowler than 3 years ago Aah the cop out ! Lolz ! See his audacity of giving such stupid reasoning :haha::haha::haha:
Moman211 Posted August 29, 2011 Author Posted August 29, 2011 Aah the cop out ! Lolz ! See his audacity of giving such stupid reasoning :haha::haha::haha: :giggle: at you. you just cant take the fact that England are better than India and Graeme Swann is the best spinner in the world. You calling him mediocre is not going to change the fact that he is the highest ranked spinner in the world and the fact that hes taken more wickets than any other spinner in the last 3 years and here is the proof you need http://www.relianceiccrankings.com/ and dont know whats so funny, you or India getting their a s s handed to them by the best team in the world!
Rightarmfast Posted August 29, 2011 Posted August 29, 2011 Lolz ! Why are you going away from the topic to prove your point ? Because you know your argument has no mettle ? relax and take a chill pill...
