Ricky Ponting will become the first cricketer to play in 100 winning Test matches if Australia wins the ongoing Galle Test against Sri Lanka. Ponting already has the records of more Test and one-day victories as captain. Not surprisingly, the top eight players on the list of Test victories are Australians, the Courier Mail reports. The 36-year-old is followed by Shane Warne (92), Steve Waugh (86), Glenn McGrath (84), Adam Gilchrist (73), Mark Waugh (72), Matthew Hayden (71) and Justin Langer (70).

Baap of all captains just won 26 matches? :phehehe:
Baap of captains :dontknow: Miandad was better than Imran. captainq.jpg Another myth among Pakistani fans is that Imran always played for win when he was a captain. Look at the number of draw under his captaincy. Highest % in this list.

According to Pakis winning the matches are more important than stats :haha:

Yeah 14 wins in 48 tests is simply mind-boggling from a captain who his countrymen consider the best captain ever :haha:

I don't why Imran is rated so high. His stats (win % not individual stats) are very very ordinary but due to that WC win Pakis put him on a pedestal. Dhoni is far far better than this guy. But Pakis seem to find that sacrilegious.
