Who are the FTBs in Indian team?

FTB/HTB/STB means someone who is very good in certain conditions but pretty poor elsewhere. You still have to be good in something. Raina is not very good under any conditions in test cricket.

tell that to srikkanth, i dont see any reason for raina to play in tests

Out of the 6 innings i think he got out to steyn 4 times.. and the ball was swinging even though not a lot but steyn always gets the ball to swing in SA.

The ball was swinging even though not a lot but enough to affect Sehwag's stroke play. His lack of footwork doesn't help either. MSD is not an FTB. Take ou the Aussie series, where he was touring for the first time, he has done fairly well on his previous trips to SA and England. He had done better than Sehwag on his both tours to SA tours. Sehwag, when he started out, was a good player outside India but I think because of the dearth of the matches in SC and the way he starts attacking from ball 1, has been made to look lik an FTB. He has potential though if he looks to tay there and then attack. Raina for all his good attitude is not a test player.
