"Bob Willis has just said apart from the current Indian line up at its best, nobody could have lived with that bowling" Taken from cricinfo :yay::yay::yay: Haterz :finger:
Rubbish, it was good bowling, but then it was allowed to be. Not one of our batsmen attacked them, shameful and no excuses please Bob Willis, it was crap

Sanga scored 500+ runs in the series not too long on the same pitches against the same attack. It was a shame Lanka had dropped Samaraweera for that series, else could have been a different story all together.

Willis was talking rubbish saying only indians in pomp could have scored runs. England were pathetic' date=' batted with so much fear[/quote'] I agree, he was making excuses for England. But I liked what he said, when great batting is talked about, instantly our famed lineup is brought up :yay:

At their best sure they are going to come out on top. Having said that on this particular pitch lot of subcontinent sides would have done far better. Australia would have done better.

i hate to say this' date=' but i agree:(([/quote'] What about Pieterson? I know he did well in summer but that was against us and we were pathetic. To me over last couple of years he just does not look right, not convincing. Not the player he was. Monty looked good though:--D

They always have a predetermined plan to spinners which fails big time, like sweep every ball or play off back foot. You have to do what works for you. Terrible collapse.

I hate Pietersen, would like to see Carberry in his place

Back in the day, opponents used to fear this batting line up. Even if they got one wicket, they would suddenly be greeted with another class batsman then another e.t.c

I'm yet to see an English supporter who does NOT hate/dislike Pietersen. I just don't get it.
It is because he is over rated. Look at his performances here. I think a player trying to earn his place like Carberry would do a lot better
