Fielding: Was average, like always Raina, Kohli the stand outs and others busy giving over-throws and free singles. Bowling: Apart from the spinners, pacers were ordinary. Munaf :facepalm: Captaincy: It was nice when Dhoni's gamble used to work, he was called the man with midas touch and all that, but when its not working it seems awful like right now. 1st not selecting Aaron 2nd when spinners were bowling well, allowing bresnan and bopara to settle in by bringing on pacers. Only + from this match was Dhoni's form and Jadeja's comeback.

Number Posted September 9, 2011 Posted September 9, 2011 Dravid's run-out was major break-through for England , a collapse was almost certain after his departure. That was awful running from someone so experienced. Apart from that Ashwin's bowling+batting and two stated by OP were good signs. We are lacking a good strike bowler and will keep losing games even if we score 300+ if none of the fast bowlers step up.
