I have a strong feeling its going to be Harbhajan. He won't make it for the Aus tour. Maybe even Munaf and Vinay Kumar. who will be retained? Manny_Pacquiao Posted September 10, 2011 Posted September 10, 2011 the most appropriate consequence would be getting a new group of selectors. too many crap players finding a place in the indian side, not many quality young players being identified. too many reactionary decisions with little thought or planning. too many conflicts of interest. you have to wonder how somebody like badrikanth keeps getting selected and how rahane was ignored for so long. how a vinay kumar gets picked even tho he is clearly not international class. how a chairman of selectors picks his worthless waste of a would-be abortion son for an emerging players tournament. fresh thinking is needed. can't see it happening though.

Misu243 Posted September 10, 2011 Posted September 10, 2011 Honestly I don't know why everyone's making a fuss about Badrinath's selection. Wasn't he selected for Windies ODI tour? Who else would you want them to pick to replace our injured players? It only makes sense to have those same players who were picked for WI for England tour as well otherwise it would really affect the team rhythm. Consistent selection this but Vinay Kumar's continuous selection in each game is definitely questionable...

Cuz he has won the World Cup, the biggest prize he could ever get in ODI.
