Lord Posted January 11, 2013 Posted January 11, 2013 Not that Rohit has done anything great himself, but most of Jadeja's runs which give his average some semblance of respectability have been scored when the match has been lost and instead of going for the target or trying to score at a fast clip he has padded up a few 40s and 50s which have been utterly useless. In 60 ODIs he has not played a single innings where he was the main reason for winning a match. that's true for Irfan too yes hes underperformed with the bat no doubt.I'm not sure which innings are u talking about wen saying he padded up n didnt try to go for the target.maybe one or two max. hes not gonna be win u matches like Watson/Bravo,but can be decent support batsmen in the lower order.just like Ashwin.anyway I dont think theres a bowler who can play as specialist spinner.

This team balance has proved that time and again that it works less than the other option where there's a batting option.
