Botha hardly plays for SA regularly. Only when others are rested or injured. Jeewan Mendis is probably on a similar boat to Jaddu, but then Srilanka have Mathews and Perrera on either side of him. And also aren't overflowing with batting options.

Which is more than most of their batsman and they aren't exactly overflowing with good batsman. And Botha plays more T20's than ODI's. Comes into ODI's when they rest Kallis to balance team mostly.

Plus they have Dernbach playing regularly who is **** and still are winning ODI regularly. If you think yuvi is as good a bowler as jadeja then you are in dream land

But the difference in terms of what they do in ODI's is marginal. Just look at the stats for the past 2/3 years for each.

I Who can you bank on 100% But he is contributing with either ball or bat in the games. Plus you add his fielding to the mix and he is very handy odi player He is 24. Could he not have improved since 22 to 24? Clearly better since his last spell in team I have question marks on how good he will be overseas, although I think his bowling will do ok anywhere in the world for odis. I think its in our interests to see how he does overseas
