^Nah, Ambrose never got him out in tests. He didn't bother him much in ODIs either. No surprise that Ambrose picked Steve Waugh as among the toughest players he bowled at.
:--) I think ambrose did get him once or twice in the ODIs. I can remember atleast 1 from either the 91 B&H series. Steve waugh and artherton, these 2 have always been a bunny for so many fast bowlers. But Steve always slugged it out did not he?

I can remember a couple of times in ODIs. One was in Australia and the other was in 1997 when he was given out caught behind when the ball hit his shoulder. He made 40 odd and ranks it as one of his best ODI knocks. Sidhu spoke about how the other batsmen were getting hit and couldn't get the ball off the square and SRT was charging the fast bowlers and hitting them. Of course, our bowlers were useless on the same pitch. :((

Yes in tests he never got him. And the ODI that you are talking about, I think he had hit Ian Bishop for 5 fours in a single over.

Very well deserved. One of the greatest fast bowlers ever. Also he seems to be a favorite for most fans. Noone seems to have a bad word to say about him.

That's coz he talked to no maaan so gave no interviews. Half of the moot points comeup because of these interviews
