Andy Posted August 16, 2011 Posted August 16, 2011 What does Kumble know about cricket? They should let the bureaucrats and politicians do their job after all they have watched hundreds of matches and Kumble has only played in hundreds of matches. Hope that was sarcasm :P
ludhianvi Posted August 16, 2011 Posted August 16, 2011 A welcome move. Apart from the match practice,(though the pitches are sometimes different than what gets in the actual matches), the time can be used to get used to the climate, get rid of the jet lag, gel as a team, or even rest for some of the players.:P
rajmarie Posted August 16, 2011 Posted August 16, 2011 SAUCE Thanks Andy...but I think Ganguly should enter into CAB by now. He is in no hurry because he knows its much easy to sit behind a mic & critize other works. He can look up to Gavaskar & Shastri as examples. Hope he enters the CAB soon. BCCI needs smart & knowledgeable people.
Trichromatic Posted August 16, 2011 Posted August 16, 2011 But the big guns would take a rest.:haha: Young guns won't find it difficult to adapt to situations especially bowlers when test matches start.

CrazyCric Posted August 16, 2011 Posted August 16, 2011 So BCCI is going to ask CA to help them, so indian Players can perform better? I can't see CA helping BCCI specially after BCCI bullied every other cricketing nation with regards to DRS. I wonder what BCCI will say if CA want's to make deal like " You agree to Hawk Eye then we will give you one or two extra tour games '
Bumper Posted August 16, 2011 Posted August 16, 2011 All you mugs, here is what BCCI has decided to do: --- In light of the recent tragedy in England, BCCI has taken inputs from several former cricketers to ensure preventive measures are in place for future foreign tours. As a prelude to this great initiative, BCCI is working with Cricket Australia on increasing the no. of tour games this winter. Here is the proposed itinery: Game-1: Chennai Super Kings vs Victoria Bush Rangers Game-2: Mumbai Indians vs NSW Game-3: Indian XI vs Canterbury XI led by 59 year old Tony Dodemaide. As you can see BCCI has clearly learnt its lessons. The sheer variety of the games played is expected to offer all Indian players opportunity to score runs in Australia and gain confidence ahead of the critical Boxing day test match. If CA feels that BCCI is wrong then why stop at making such deal, they should try to get BCCI banned.
