India's future of fast bowling looks bright but we need to give proper chance & nurture those talents

our bowlers unfortunately takes lot longer than other bowlers. Someone opened a thread "Ishant has turned a corner" after he mauled the pathetic C grade west Indian batsmen. We all saw how he was stuck in the corner in England. You can't blame them. We have to accept the fact that they are not as talented as we rate them. They are average' date= below average. Every single fast bowler we have apart from Zaheer.

In England, he was a bit unlucky. He bowled very well in all 4 test matches. It was just he did not have the wickets to show there. Sometimes, stats don't give you the right picture. I was not disappointed by his bowling in England because he has his limitation as his bowling action and his bowling style does not suit English conditions. Ishant, Yadav, Aaron, Tyagi, they are all talent. Question is how we groom them. If you watch Tim Bresnan in 2006 and you would see the difference. He was 21-22 then and now 26 and see how he has progressed, same with Finn, Broad, and Anderson. They have a system in place to groom fast bowlers and let them improve. What we have, we already have limited bowlers like we had Ishant in England and we bowl them to dust. How one bowler can deliver day in and day out when he has to bowl 300 overs in 7 tests with 2 months duration and also fielding 3 out of 5 days in 4 consecutive tests. Bowling always works in a unit. We need at least 4-5 fast bowlers who can play whenever some one is injured or tried and are effective as well, like England have. They planned and worked in these things. Look at Finn in Ashes 2010, he played first 2-3 tests, he is same age of Ishant, took some wickets, but then they felt he is getting so they sent him back and called another bowler in Bresnan who delivered for them. It was the similar case with Ishant, but he was played continuously and now we know he may not even play in Australia. I have doubts if he can survive and play Aus test series with ankle injury. We need to make that pool of bowlers. Instead, we play one take in one series and dos not play him and then take another one in another series. Most important thing is to find out who are the potential bowler who have ingrediets to be successful in tests, like either swing and accuracy or pace and bounce. We have swing and accuracy with PK, pace and bounce with Ishant, Yadav, Tyagi, and Aaron. Now give these guys maximum chances to play especially Yadav, Tyagi, and Aaron as they are rookies and most inexperienced at international level and in the time being these guys improve as they more, we need to find another set of bowler who can replace any of these bowlers mentioned above whenever they need rest or are injured and we can certainly do that as we have guys coming up like Chahar, Sandeep Sharma, Shrikant Wagh, and Kulkarni who are swing bowlers, Rahul Shukla, Shami, Anwar, Dhudhat have pace and bounce and can be developed well into good bowlers. What we need is an initiative to create a vision with proper planning from BCCI, nothing else.
