He released it later because Broad had a problem about their relationship being revealed. Later on Swann replaced it with a chapter for KP. The rest as they say is history!

Unmukt believes in himself that he is gonna be a future star, hence he is writing his autobiography.

He wasn't too excited even after winning that world cup when everyone around him was going berserk.. He will be a star for sure.

Writing a diary in this case is just a coincidence and doesn't have any bearing on Unmukt the cricketer. Lot of kids write down their teenage diaries but it has no bearing on how successful they are or will be. Unmukt is not a good cricketer coz he writes a diary/auto-biography but because he has skill, works hard and has the drive to excel. The moment he stops striving to get better and buys into the hype no amount of diary writing will help him.
