haha, it does sound ridiculous, doesnt it. i think its just a response to guys like vaughan, hussain, and al these english wind-up merchants. the field of cricket commentary has deteriorated to the extent that commentators have begun behaving like forum posters. :haha:
agreed.we will have difficulty taking 20 wickets right now with the bowling situation so fluid with the pacers injured and spinners who are average.

Totally back the viewpoint that England would have been MAULED had there been a test series following the ODI's. Theres no way in the world they can play in the subcontinent. England team at best is a mediocre team capable of winning at home or similar conditions when they they oppositions are psychologically and physically down !
Many fans have said claimed this and even Shastri predicted a thrashing at home. India would have struggled to beat England here.

1) They have some good test players of spin (at least better than WI). Strauss, KP, Cook and Bell. 2) I watched first two days of 1st test against WI.
