It is only T20 which is not the pinnacle of the game and Asani was absolutely pathethic if you watched the same game you would actually be aware of that. Bad calls in a T20 game when it is low scoring can seal the deal! He turned KP down so many times when he was plum and Bopara and Kieswetter although we still got the latter! As I say most fans would take 5-0 in the revenge series over a mickey mouse game anyway

So what Asnani was not pathetic. Was he biased? He was officiating because those are the umpires available to us. Do you know better umpires who could have replaced him? He tried his best and that's all. It's still a poor excuse and nothing else.

Yes he was pathethic! I am sorry but this is an International match not some local pub game! These calls were not close they were Plum and not once but umpteen times it happend! Sure if he was a school boy in a school match then maybe my comments were harsh but this is an international match not room for umpire who are as mediocre as this guy! Call it an excuse if you want, but without the pathethic calls from Assani we would have probably won the game. That is fact.

How about a fact over an excuse? would you fancy that? 3 out of the four not outs he gave were plumb. India had a serious chance had it been toffel or some other elite umpire. Other fact is that, he was available to us hence we had to deal with him.

BCCI should ban this moron Asnani, so many plumb decisions were given not out, KP rightly called him a T W A T, but yeah real reason for not even putting up a fight was Raina's drop catch. We were so close to sending them winless again, but then we did that to them in 2008, so we're even. :P

T20 international matches have no meaning at all, and I am not saying this because we lost. In such a fickle format, it becomes interesting when you reward consistent performance like a league or knockout tourney does.
