Rajiv Posted November 1, 2011 Posted November 1, 2011 Damn, what a horrible time for the family and wife. You know some ppl would like to think how the child is unlucky, I hope thats not the case
CSK Fan Posted November 1, 2011 Posted November 1, 2011 ^ Asif has been held not guilty on one charge. Jury wasnt able to reach a majority verdict They did now(reach majority verdict on the second charge) after further delibration, 10-2, same as Butt. So both are guilty of both charges. Amir too as he pleaded guilty to both charges
Yoda-esque Posted November 1, 2011 Posted November 1, 2011 @_fakeiplplayer "Salman Butt's baby boy born on the day he's found guilty of spot-fixing" If life's a hindi film that boy wud grow up to lead Pak to WC win. :hysterical::hysterical: Man..I fail to see the humour in this

Aaku Posted November 1, 2011 Posted November 1, 2011 @yesnosorry Clearly Salman Butt planned all this to get off potty duty.

Aaku Posted November 1, 2011 Posted November 1, 2011 @sidin Salman Butt is an unfortunate name to have in jail. :hehe:
Karan114 Posted November 1, 2011 Posted November 1, 2011 Interesting that Amir was in touch with bookies in Pakistan separate to the stuff that was being engineered by Majeed. No innocent little village boy (as claimed by a lot of Pakistani fans), this dude.
Blue Panther Posted November 1, 2011 Posted November 1, 2011 I remember asif and amir were accusing ICC, Indian intellegince for this. How times change very quickly. :giggle:
Yoda-esque Posted November 1, 2011 Posted November 1, 2011 I remember asif and amir were accusing ICC' date=' Indian intellegince for this. How times change very quickly. :giggle:[/quote'] Seriously? They blamed RAW??? Source plz...
Aaku Posted November 1, 2011 Posted November 1, 2011 Aaku ka dil hai ya pathar? :nervous: moum (wax) ka dil hai
Rajiv Posted November 1, 2011 Posted November 1, 2011 Seriously? They blamed RAW??? Source plz... It was the deluded Pak Ambassador, they always do a good job of embarrassing themselves
maniac Posted November 1, 2011 Posted November 1, 2011 what an ironic name to have when you are in prison Salman 'butt' For some reason I can already see Asif smuggling in drugs, etc into prison like Morgan Freeman in shawshank redemption
Rajiv Posted November 1, 2011 Posted November 1, 2011 what an ironic name to have when you are in prison Salman 'butt' For some reason I can already see Asif smuggling in drugs, etc into prison like Morgan Freeman in shawshank redemption Cant they get bail?
maniac Posted November 1, 2011 Posted November 1, 2011 Cant they get bail? I was just kidding in my post.I think they can because going by Indian laws which are based on the English Judicial system corruption is not a non-baillable offence yet . From what I have heard these guys have hired decent lawyers. Not sure what the UK laws are when it comes to corruption are and also these guys are non-residents so I am not sure how the verdict affects them.

Rajiv Posted November 1, 2011 Posted November 1, 2011 ..if they get bail, then there is no fun as they will come back to home country and do something else..their careers were over with cricket anyways
ganeshran Posted November 1, 2011 Posted November 1, 2011 Cant they get bail? They are not arrested yet. After sentencing, I dont think bail is possible. Parole is granted on a case by case basis

Parole is granted on a case by case basis[/quote'] I think that would be a blessing for them rather than punishment,I am sure they would prefer to live in UK as prisoners than go back to Pak Isn't that what most of these guys want anyways
