Any team beats the goras is adopted by Nirvanam :cantstop:
Wrong! Any team that beats the Yips. I like the Aussies, Kiwis, and Saffers...I just can't stand the Yips - neither the dogs nor the men Edit - of course it's only in a certain context

Pakistan are starting to look good now, both with bat and ball totally dominated the first two tests and did well to save the 3rd one. Well if your batting remains consistent can surely give England a tough challenge, they'd surely not like to face Ajmal, Rehman. Just do well to avoid any controversy again (you usually have one when you play them) :giggle:

pakistan will probably beat us at home' date='we are playing that badly at the moment.Thy have a stable team now without any distractions which is a rarity for them.[/quote'] uh no, i wouldn't put too much into these matches on flat pitches and beating teams like zimbabwe(which got close). heck, they couldn't even win a series against indies. on uae pitches, suresh raina will score double centuries.

They deserve credit. It can't be easy to emerge from the scandals shorn of good players and produce like this. Continuity of selection is good. Having a third Akmal is one hell of a risky ploy though. If the other cretins (Akmal x2, Afridi) worm their way back into the picture, frankly Pakistan will deserve all it gets. But for now they are doing well.

Its almost too good for the Pakistanis right now. Team winning on the field, players genuinely united, dodgy characters being kept out...it simply can't last, you'd think!

Afridi and Umar Akmal are already back. B->

^had not seen this. At least it is just for ODIs. I think Pakistan is probably just happy to have a relatively clown-free Test team for now. There really ought not to be any excuse for the Khatmals and Riaz to make it back there.

You keep talking about flat wickets, you can only perform on the tracks you get no? Pakistan, a poor team in Tests, still won two Tests last summer in England. How many Tests did your rock stars win in England this summer? And you mentioned windies, well they blew away your legends in no time today. Raina is only a slogger, he is not Test material at all. But guys like Kohli, Pujara and Rohit are very good prospects. Credit where it's due.

Even I gave credit where it's due if you took the time to read it. I said Pakistan are doing decent, but no way they are top 4 and can beat India. And as for winning two tests in England, they were done on the back of some amazing bowling performances by bowlers who'll never play for Pakistan again so what's the context with current team which I am discussing. You couldn't manage a series win in Windies with this team which we did with a B team. This current match is not even over yet. I remember Pakis celebrating the Sydney test. And as for Raina, he'll easily score centuries on those flat pitches against such crap bowling. In fact he did, on debut on a pitch less flatter than this.

Well it's only a matter of time before Pakistan come out with a couple of more exiting fast bowlers and if you look at the first class trophy which is being played I can easily name 5-10 bowlers around 20 years of age who can make it to the national team. No lack of bowling talent in the country and now even young batsmen are waiting for the oldies to retire. Nevertheless two wins in England are worth praising. Of course the match is not over against windies but what we saw today was embarrasing. So you admit Rains is a FTB?

Our bowling did wonderful in UAE how is it crap .....??? Got very good Srilankan batting out for less than 300 3 times in the series Yes we may not be in Top 4 yetwe certainly can beat any team from top 4 in test matches may be not in whole series but we certainly beat every team in one test match every series....

by crap I meant SL bowling against whom Raina did score a century on debut.

To me the most positive outcome for Pakistan in this series was their consistent scoring from batsmen# 3,4,5 and for SL, except Sangakaran they had a dismal performance in this area. In all 3 Tests Pakistani batsmen # 3,4,5 scored at avg: 60, and SL with avg 38; thanks to Sangakara, if we exclude Sangakara, their avg drops to 14...
