King Tendulkar Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 Kohli should have been picked for 1st test anyway. Needs long run in side as is future. Home series then away against aus would have given him much needed experience and been making of him. He is class. Yuvi 2 failures has to go
yoda Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 Why not Rohit? I know he isn't in the 15, but I would like this guy to be given some test chances.
Tiger80 Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 Thread bhi khul gaya Yuvi drop ke liye :hysterical:
jairamesh Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 time to move on, though he will probably play on.
King Tendulkar Posted November 8, 2011 Author Posted November 8, 2011 The way yuvraj stayed at crease with massive dissapointment, it was as if he knew this could be his last test innings. Well selctors and co have the balls to make the right decision
Trichromatic Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 He has been playing test cricket for 8 years and still doesn't look like a test player. He is already 30. Time to move on and invest in some player who can play for 10 year and is potential test material. Yuvraj is temporary solution in each series.
kabira Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 won't be dropped. But I want to see Rahul Sharma next.
express bowling Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 The big three are 37, 38 and 39 yrs. Why are we still not looking to develop replacements when they decide to retire ? We need players who have sufficient time to play quick bowling and are good against the swinging ball as well as on the back foot. Kohli, Rohit and Rahane are the possible candidates and it is high time we played them by turn rather than try Yuvraj who obviously lacks test temperament as well as the technique to play swing and spin in tests.
Hur Rizvi Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 I am amazed despite having Kohli,Sharma, pujara, vijay in the wings... Why is yuvraj playing in Indian test team he is pathetic test player....
zep1706 Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 I think it's time to accept that Yuvi is not a test cricket material. Need to move on, we have lots of better options.
Sid Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 lol,He will play in both remaining test matches.Probably will get a 100 in one of them and seal a place for Aussie tour. And we all know what will happen in Aus.
deathmonger Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 Rahane Kohli Pujara Rohi must be blooded soon. Else we'll be in a Australia like position.
mani0993 Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 He won't be dropped for the Eden Test and shouldn't be.
deathmonger Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 if series is won in eden rahane, aaron, kohli, rahul sharma should be given try.
akshayxyz Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 UV has had enough of come backs in test XI... I think it is time we start incubating Rohit/Kohli/Pujara - before SRT/Dravid retire.
Sooda Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 Yuvraj should not have made the squad even and Mukund should be there ; Anyway Rahane should open, Sehwag at 5 and Laxman at 6. :D
Spiderguy252 Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 LoL, what about the muppet, MS Dhoni? Every one of you is ignoring the elephant in the room. His last three test scored read: 0, 0, 0*. Ah....now I get it. He's improving isn't he?
