pujara i think has a long way to go but after proving his fitness ... He should not make a waste in haste situation for his carrer as irfan pathan did...try to excell in domestic circuits....of the late rahane too has been offcolored...so probably the fight for the 2 test spots is among yuvi, raina and kohli....shud not 4get that yuvi bhai can bowl 20 30 overs.....nd sachin sehwag shud not take part in windies tour as they are prone to injuries.....i think the test squad shud be rahane pujara kohli dhoni rohit sharma yuvi laxman parthiv patel harbhajan aaron mithun yadav ashwin ishant sreesunth munaf dravid can b xcluded as he is an ol tym grea player....n will work in aus....tendu n sehwag shud be xcluded bcoz den they will get injured on the 4th or 5th day of last test agst windies...zak shud b given sme match practice as well as nehra to be tested for odis

You can't rest someone just because he's an old time gem. Dravid was woefully out of form for ages. It's this year only that he has picked up form and let him enjoy his ruch vein of form. As for Sachin bieng injury prone, he has been playing for long enough to know his own body.

Where is Cheteshwar Pujara?? Where has Pujara disappeared. i thought he was gonna be fit by Oct end but he hasnt played in both Ranji matches for Saurashtra so far... He is important for our future cuz he is definitely the next Rahul Dravid..

I assure you he is . Watch the lad bat and give him 10 test matches to understand why im saying that.
He is a talented guy as his domestic records suggest but I'm not sure how well he can perform overseas. I watched him bat in South Africa and he looked completely clueless. He should play for a county team for a season or two and improve his technique for seaming conditions.

I wouldn't say he looked clueless in SA. He showed grit on a very tough pitch at Durban (he didn't score many runs, but then bar Laxman no one did) and then got a brilliant ball from Steyn at Cape Town. That said, the comparisons with Dravid are silly as well. I would be happy if Pujara (or any other of the young batsmen) can average even 40-45 over a decently long career. As we've seen with Yuvraj, Kohli, Raina and Mukund, even averaging substantially over 30 is proving difficult for our young batsmen these days, such are their failings in temperament and/or technique (well Yuvraj is no youngster but the selectors still seem to think he is - selecting him on "potential").

Off all the names mentioned above, Mukund seems to be the one with right attitude.....he made his debug on tougher pitches and his performances are decent enough.....he proved that he has it in him to do well in tough conditions......with time he will become more reliable......he started his domestic season with a bang and hope he will get more chances....

PUJARA, BADRINATH, ROHIT SHARMA, KOHLI, RAHANE these are the guys we shd look at for our test future and we shd ensure that des guys play as less as possible in IPL

badri is older than yuvi. the other 4 yes.

Yuvraj is superb against fast bowling and he is also a good back foot player and can do well against short pitch bowling on bouncy pitches in Australia. The problem with him in tests is temperament and his tendency to play away from the body. He plays too many loose shots and gives his wicket away easily and also he doesnt look comfortable when the ball swings and seams around. But then again, barring Sachin and Dravid most Indian batsmen struggle in those conditions. What Yuvraj needs to show in this West Indies series is that he has the capacity to grind it out and play a long test match innings. If he can do that, I think he should be in the lineup above Kohli, Rahane or Rohit Sharma.

yeah badri is older but he is better dan yuvi in tests.... so we can atleast have him for 6-7 yrs...
Badrinath is crap , only domestic run maker, stroke less wonder, no class.
