I would love to see EBAY/AMAZON GO DOWN.. One of the biggest reasons of slow business all around the world.
Draw a bigger line - Suggest / implement something better instead of wishing for their failures. Whenever I used ebay/Amazon, I found pretty good service - at least better than the alternatives I could find out. And if there indeed are better folks out there, they will eventually come out on top.

Nintendo, Electronic Arts and Sony Electronics drop support for SOPA http://www.businessinsider.com/the-largest-game-companies-in-the-world-have-dropped-their-support-for-a-bill-the-internet-hates-2011-12 Though it may not all be that straight-forward

It would appear that the three largest gaming companies supporting SOPA have quietly retracted their backing. Sony Electronics, Electronic Arts and Nintendo were all listed as supporters of the bill when it first came into being, but their names have since disappeared from the updated document of allies. Sony/ATV Music Publishing, Sony Music Entertainment and Sony Music Nashville are still listed, but anything related to the company's electronics endeavors have disappeared. However, all three companies are members of the Entertainment Software Association, a group that still remains aligned to SOPA. Although their individual express support of the bill has been removed, these companies still back it by virtue of their association with the ESA. Until the ESA backs off, these companies are still in. They ostensibly went from backing it twice to backing it once. While it's great to see that companies are realizing SOPA support looks bad for them, simply hiding that support isn't quite as good as actively removing it. These three companies, along with every single publisher on this list, are still culpable for SOPA, and if they respect their audiences, they'd do well to stop.

No rival company yaar. The thing is, ebay is not selling any stuff. It's people on ebay and amazon who are selling cheap stuff and bringing the whole market down. I get paid my hour rate. So it doesn't hurt me, but eventually the online thing is making everyone lazy and at the same time making every stuff available at cheap quality at cheap price. Whether if someone owns a luggage store or polo Ralph Lauren franchise, or Armani, eventually every business is being hurt by ebay/amazon. They should be paid good amount for life and should be shut down for life.

But isnt it difficult to maintain a Brick and mortar store...with all the Inventory filed on,paying rent to wherehouse etc.. We can buy same electronics goods from Ebay or Amazon at less cost compare to reguler stores and i dont think quality will be any different as the gurantee is from Distributor of the item.. Even the margins are far less in Brick and mortar show rooms excpeptions like Apple are there...still online is the way forward imo

Walmart. It's a retail store. Save money live better, thats all, they still sell at a good price. It's fine to save some deals. I don't have problem with stores like Cost co. or Sams club. It's the online buying which is messing things up

What is wrong with making stuff available at a cheaper price?

I buy stuff from ebay too man.. I am supporting everyone. I will give you an example. I look to give business to everyone. Like if I have to get a coffee. I don't allways go and grab it from star bucks. There is this japanese dude who sells the coffee at same price but I look to give him business. Whole America buys from Star bucks, it's good if that little japanese vendor also get bit of business. A bit diff taste, I tend to help the japanese dude out and buy often from him. I work for a business firm, so my mind works like that. It's hard to explain in words to be honest. I don't know.
