King Tendulkar Posted November 27, 2011 Posted November 27, 2011 The likes of Munaf' date=' Sreesanth, Vinay can rest assured that their time is done. Munaf is an apt story of a true talent wasted.I doubt these guys will be back in international cricket anymore.[/quote'] Vinay has been picked for odi squad:hmmm:
Sooda Posted November 28, 2011 Posted November 28, 2011 He did well in WI tests, and pitches in Aus could suit his style of bowling. But he out with injury, there was an interview of him when he was opening some local T20 tourno

But he out with injury, there was an interview of him when he was opening some local T20 tourno[/quote'] WI Tests were five and a half years ago. Since then he has managed just 7 Tests and picked up 11 wickets in them. Really not a Test option these days at all. Good in ODIs, obviously.
rkt.india Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 I think he's talking about the 2006 WI series. :haha: We would have welcomed Munaf of those days with both hands, but not of these days:((.
Sooda Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 ^No of course I dont mean 2006. The tests in WI a few months ago, he bowled well. Good line and length kept things under control. He gets picked on for his fitness but he bowled long spells at reasonable pace. He is not a new ball bowler who is going to rip through sides, more of a 3rd seamer and did his role.

Even Mithun picked more wickets than him and showed m ore intensity.
Viki_J Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 is he still injured? yaaa...in recovery phase :((
